What people fail to understand is that ruin has slowly become more and more weaker, because survivors over the years has become better at finding totems (at high MMR). I personally thought that nerfing it to 150% would be more suited, so the perk doesn't completely vanish from the game, but will be an ok/descent perk.

there are 24 killers which is why I suggested this, average it would only take 1/24 longer than normal, which isnt that much longer if you think about it, if 4 solo q bans different killers then it would only take 4/24 longer, which is 1/6 longer on worst case scenario. 5 min q will be around 6 minutes. not "easly 20…

Its not a perk but something that helps for me is having a flashlight, whenever your friend is getting tunneled, make sure he or she drops a pallet (doesnt need to stun the killer), make sure you are around aswell. Don't think that would be a problem, if it ever was a base thing, the devs should make it able to still kick it even if it was regressed, so the gen related perks still could be used.

I see your point and agree, but remember that that video adressed the old DS, which was way worse. Also, what if DS is only active if you are the recent unhooked person? Maybe that would be more fair.
