No, not everyone has to like all killers and a lot of players find certain killers boring in this game. Instead of making up some weird excuses about that, maybe you can just accept that their power is just not very interesting for some people? Plus, your last sentence doesn't make any sense. 1v1 is the most fun part and…

I don't think it's too hard to counter them, even for a game like DBD. I learned how to avoid them a long, long time ago when I was bad at the game still. Yes, good survivors don't need 360ing but so what if they have the chance to do them still? There's no need to cater to new players constantly, which they've been doing…
-
And this is coming from someone who thinks its so hard to hit a survivor who is twiddling their mouse. I've made the best decision today by visiting here, the salt is too good
-
Are you 12? This game is recommended for 18+ so you should probably stay away from it.
-
No? Are you one of those people still whining about spinning in 2021?
-
Thank you BHVR for listening to your experienced players and making the game fun like before <3
-
I didn't say it was reliable, I just said it's an option if you don't have anything else you can do and you'd be surprised by how often pallets can save you. I don't see how there is a "prediction" against slinger. If you're going against a good deathslinger, you're not predicting or juking anything since they can pull off…

I see quite many nurse players. Most of them are not good though. Nurse is hard to learn (as she should be) but once you do, she is fun. If you struggle to win too often with Nurse then you are simply not that good as her. She is one of the best killers in the game. Otz is also not that experienced with Nurse from what I…
-
Because if you drop a pallet in a demo's face he still has to break them. If you compare windows only they might seem the same but that's not really the case.
-
Nurse with a slugging build is really boring, I agree with that. Thankfully it's not something that's common when I play. I disagree about much of the rest though. Distance is VERY important against nurse, losing LOS and making as much distance as possible is one of the best plays you can do. I don't really get why people…
-
That's not always the case. Many killers such as Nurse have way more control over chases and they are very fun to go against. Killers can be both powerful and fun, it's just BHVR's incompetence at designing both fun to go against and fun to play as killers.
-
Yes many killers do require different playstyles but deathslinger's "different playstyle" is dropping pallets instantly which is a boring playstyle like I said and it doesn't require you to do much of the things you learned about the game. What you described first is the case with every killer (making distance etc.) You…
-
Ok and what does this have to do with anything I said just now? Changing the topic is basically saying that I'm right.
-
Your point makes no sense. There is no "different playstyle" against deathslinger unless you count stealth but you could say that against any killer in the game. If you are going against a good deathslinger, there is nothing you can do besides dropping pallets instantly which is a super boring play style and doesn't…

Stretched res only increases vertical FOV and no, it does not allow you to see over loops unless you are playing at a really weird resolution like 1024x1024 which pretty much no one uses. I strongly agree that there should be FOV slider for both sides, to the point where it doesn't break the game of course. Current FOV is…
-
Yeah this seems to be true actually. Found in a couple of mins with it turned off.
-
I give up, there's something wrong for sure.
-
Could be. I would be happy with 4 mins lmao, I'm still waiting.
-
Neither of those were exploits and yes, get good.
-
No one ever said infinites are good.
-
Because while 360ing is not that effective at lunge hits, it is still more useful while dodging hatchet hits, billy's chainsaw, oni's hits and some other stuff but guess what? If the killer is really good then they can hit anyway. The turning changes affect more than just spinning. It makes survivor movement way less…
-
Those situations where aim dressing causes you to miss aren't that common and it usually happens during regular lunge hits, not when a survivor is 360ing. I can't remember the last time when I got 360d due to that (or when I last got 360d in general because like I said, it's extremely easy to counter). I understand what…
-
If you are in a dead zone, you should go down anyway because good killers don't really get 360'd :). Your point makes no sense because you said it yourself that 360ing doesn't work against good killers. Nobody really makes those montages anymore unless they seriously just derank to rank 20. I've seen even rank 15 killers…
-
I am so pissed rn like I can't believe that I actually thought they would fix this in 4.5.1. Won't make that mistake again for sure. I can deal with everything else in this patch but this is just unacceptable. Not to mention that there is both the event and the rift going on right now, both are timed and survivor is STILL…
-
There is nothing to "exploit" about aim dressing. If 360ing is hard to counter on consoles then they should focus on fixing it on there instead of getting rid of it entirely. If you get 360'd as a PC killer then it is %100 your fault.
-
You should consider getting better instead of whining about super easy stuff to counter.
-
I've had enough of them releasing broken stuff and I will certainly think twice before giving them any more of my money in the future. Get your act together BHVR, this should have been detected before the patch and if not, it should have been fixed immediately, not in several weeks. I'm convinced you don't even have a QA…
-
No, it's not just a "feeling". The difference in the movement is caused by the new turning animations they added and unless they're willing to remove them or change them, it's not going to be the same. Knowing the devs though, they will probably keep saying that the gameplay is the same and won't touch them for a long…
-
It's not that rare, it seems to be a bug that came with hit validation. Happened to me twice just this week. Only seems to happen during unhooking.
-
Your comment makes no sense. No, he's unfun because you can't do anything skillful to counter a good deathslinger. There is pretty much nothing you can do besides just dropping pallets instantly (which is boring) except some certain loops like I said before. You can't really juke him with his insta ADS and how fast his…
-
That's not how that works in many maps and please stop saying "just use x perk" already. The counterplay to a good deathslinger is dropping safe pallets instantly without attempting any sort of mindgames (even then he can potentially hit you with good addons on some loops) or using your skill anywhere with the exception of…
-
Yeah, same thing just happened to me as well. Also sure I got everything from the rift.
-
Well regardless, I don't think they are favouring any side here, BHVR is just really terrible at checking for bugs and fixing them in time.
-
Is that why they still haven't fixed bugs like the unhook movement bug which has been in the game since deathslinger or left the gamebreaking hill bug in the game for so long?
-
Going against a good spirit with stridor + other good perks and addons is also a nightmare and has pretty much zero counter play. Yes, a lot of killers need help. Does that make spirit a non issue? No, it doesn't. Buffing other killers won't decrease the amount of spirit killers that much because they will never be as…
-
Played my first match with this change and hits still looked really bad. I don't think this will ever be fixed anymore tbh.
-
How is this "enabling the mentality" exactly? There is no stopping this mentality, you will always run into people like this, in any online game out there. Just learn to deal with it and move on.
-
Yeah, I agree with pretty much all of this. I don't think NOED is overpowered but I do think that it's a poorly designed perk. Cleansing totems on solo queue is just not worth it unless you have a build for it (which is also dumb). Just focus on gens and deal with it after it's active.
-
Why does it matter if it's realistic or not? There are way more unrealistic things than that but those are fine right? It's a game, and it's a multiplayer one so if you expect to feel like a killer in movies and stuff you're not going to get that in this game unless you go against baby survivors. DBD stops being a horror…
-
Yeah, if they don't fix this or turn it off soon they will lose a lot of new players. That is also the reason I will not be playing that much for now, I am constantly getting matched with new players. I seriously had like only 1 match so far where all players were actually experienced.
-
What do you expect people to do when the devs release a broken system that pretty much made the game unplayable for a lot of people?
-
I'm not saying you were toxic, some survivors just play the game to annoy others so they don't need any excuse to do this kind of stuff. Just try not to care about stuff like this too much, it's just a game after all.
-
I don't think you understood what I was saying so I'll just put the quote from a dev: MMR ratings didn't start at a default if you were already playing in the last couple of months and somehow the results are terrible.
-
Spirit, Freddy, Deathslinger, Pyramid Head. All of them are really boring in chases.
-
I just played against a killer that was playing his first match ever and I genuinely felt really bad. A player with almost 2k hours should never be matched with people like that.
-
Stuff like this is exactly why I think a MMR system would never work well in a game like this. You just can't accurately determine skill without watching the player yourself.
-
Free hits for points. I don't taunt unless the killer was toxic and if you are really getting bothered by this so much then I'd say part of the problem is also yourself. If you really hate it just hit them and force them to leave or just don't go near the gates.
-
Except they already said that this system was rating players before it was activated (for months) so I see no justification for how bad it is right now. I played a lot before it was activated and after it was activated and I just recently went against a killer that was playing his first match ever.
-
"Second, the skill level between players is considerably diverse, meaning you will meet 1-2 bad team mates at most. This works perfect for both sides in my opinion and is the epitome of "balance"." I really hope this is satire because that's not "balance" whatsoever.
-
That's not really "abusing the game mechanics" but yeah, you should play however you want. Nobody really cares about the other side's enjoyment anymore so you shouldn't care that much either. This doesn't mean you should camp every survivor or anything like that but don't be afraid to play a bit dirty to win.
