But my question is more for the killers that employ this tactic. I appreciate the opinions on why they do but I want to hear the reasoning from them to help me better understand why they need a crutch like that to play

To say there isn’t a way to stop it is just ignorance. They have perks that can activate like Steve Harrington’s perk if you are in the struggle phase the timer stops if another survivor is nearby. So why not use those mechanics to note when a Killer stays witihin let’s say 16m (the kindred Max) then they start losing…

Ten bucks says you are a camper. They did nerf DS. You have to be hooked for it to work now. Dead Hard complaint tells me you are a tunneler and mad that survivors figured out a way to annoy you as much as you annoy them. They need work on a better system. In a span of a week my internet was overloaded and disconnected me from the internet getting me screwed by unrealistic nan times. I’m all about punishing a disconnecting weenie but these penalties are ridiculous
