It's balanced poorly with all other sounds. While it was too loud before the balance overall was better.

When more people play killer, killer queue times are longer, when queue times are longer the pool of potential survivors you go against opens up, creating more disparity between ranks.
-
Since swf matchmaking works based on the average rank of those in a party, I'd imagine that average is significantly higher than 1 in most cases. Especially with the new pipping system. Got a source for that one? Hadn't heard that.

I think this is pretty funny considering they just released party data and 4 man swf games account for less than 5% of all games. More than 50% of all survivors are solo. Killers who complain that every game they get 4 man swfs are actually being outplayed by people with no comms and then they're blaming the non existent…

Survivors adapted when they closed off most of the windows in buildings, when they drastically reduced the amount of pallets and spawn locations on maps, when they nerfed exhaustion perks, when they nerfed window vaults, when they changed pallet functionality, when they nerfed flashlights, and many other times. For the…

@Sentry I can understand being mad that your favorite killer is getting re-balanced, but the amount of posts (here, on reddit, and even steam) dedicated to shitting on a PTB that hasn't even gone live is ridiculous. Not to worry though, I'm sure the devs will side with the highly vocal killer community again before it goes…
-
I think the problem with your observation is that in general, survivors have always adapted to changes made and killers have always spammed forums until they get their way. They have even organized multiple killer strikes, which all proved to be ineffective. Even the most vocal complainers about things like the DS nerf…

So, you're posting in the survivor subforum to flamebait survivors? Amazing.

Dodge and DC aren't the same thing. People who disconnect when they find out it's legion or nurse are scum, not going to lie. Killers that dc when I run them around for 3 gens are equally scum. That's also not toxic behavior on my part, it's not my fault they can't end the chase quickly. They're at rank 1, they should git…

The complaint in this thread is lobby dodging and killers are coming in to say that it's not an issue at all, which is literally what the word disingenuous means. Not sure if you knew that by your usage and syntax. The topic of this thread is something that has been an issue for a long time and has not been resolved. You…

Yeah, it's really just all those toxic things survivors do, such as: Having a toolbox, having a medkit, having a flashlight, having prestige clothing, having paid cosmetic clothing, loading into the lobby within 5 seconds of another survivor, being a twitch streamer, being claudette, being dwight, being jake, being feng…

The prerequisite is that you have to hit a skill check.
-
You have to hook someone before you can break a lantern. It's not hard to do.
-
NOED is so easy to counter though, just break the totems. Especially if the killer is bad at chases. Bad killers always run NOED, so don't pop the last gen until the totems are gone.

I hadn't been around over the holidays because of family, so this isn't a necro or anything. But, your last post insinuated that I was new to the game and hadn't hit rank 1, so I had to make a post about my cheevs, as is custom when talking to dbd players on a forum. So, what killer do you main?
-
I've hit rank 1 pretty much every season since launch, and had legacy prestige 3 on multiple characters until my save file was lost. I do have the achievements with the right dates to prove that, if you have doubts. It's nice of you to say that I sound like a rank 15 survivor though, I used to really love going back there…

So, let me get this right, you're saying you stay at lower ranks to face more "competent" opponents, and that Dead Hard is a garbage perk that doesn't work against "good" killers. I feel like you're a killer main just having a laugh at this point and that the next thing you're going to tell me is that doing gens is…
-
I'm at rank 1 and I've made 2 killers quit already just tonight. I feel like "Competent" killers shouldn't chase the same person for 5 gens and 2 gates. But there they are, at rank 1.

Avoid playing solo queue near rank 1 and if you do, dodge SWF groups. This stuff is sadly pretty common in higher ranks, and killers go along with it pretty much every time, especially if you were able to run them at all before you got downed. The only way to ensure killers don't work with survivors to troll you is to run…

DH is great in some situations though, like when the killer is at the top of the basement stairs and you DH past them as they swing. It's hilarious every time. The speed boost is weak, but that immunity is strong. I've had DH work wonders for me in the past and seen killers get super upset over it, which makes it even more…

With the emblem system you're sort of punished for playing SWF unless everyone is at your rank. At rank 1 I've had some of the best and most fun solo queue experiences ever. SWF can be really frustrating now rank wise, especially considering that rank 1 has no pips anymore. It's made me play solo much more because solo…

But if they're detected, shouldn't they be banned before they even get a match?
