Yea it unfortunately happens :( My son used to play COD and quit cause of hackers. He also get's frustrated when he encounters them in this game but there isn't much we can do about it. Just move on to the next match and hope it goes better.

Yea that could work. Or maybe even make Hex's be linked to other items within the maps that regularly show up on each specific map. I don't know. I just feel it is too easy to cleanse Hex's and find them right now. Or make it so the locations of Totems are more randomized and not the exact same.

In a previous patch note series they explained (with pictures lol) the issues with latency and pallet stuns and killer grabs. Some say that even though on your screen you think you are far enough away on the survivor side it is reading that you are too close. That definitely sounds like a good idea! If you go against survivors who know how to pan around and look then they can very easily spot you depending on the map, which I feel makes it kind of useless to a point at least when going against anyone other than newbies.

I like Inuyasha and have been rewatching it while playing DBD just for something to watch while I wait for matches. Especially if I am in the PTB killer lobbies which take forever! Most recently watched Goblin Slayer, and rewatching American Horror Story and the new American Horror Stories series also.
