I run borrowed and am overly altruistic so I often do what would be considered suicide for everyone but even I know when one should be worked on a gen all the way or partially before unhooking. Survivor main that plays killer occasionally here! I have never heard nor used said excuse. I never sweep the area unless i see survivors near or see scratch marks, then after a few seconds of looking i leave. I know the pain of being camped and tunneled so I avoid that at all costs to make the game fun for both parties.

I handle ruin extremely well and whenever I play solo I never have a problem. If I'm having an off day I'll just work on being a distraction instead so those who can handle ruin atm can do it.
