Solo Q players are absolutely awful at the moment for me. I've always said it is pot luck. Just because you have 6 escapes doesn't mean that Solo Q is fixed.
-
Fast blood web took 6 years. Option to pick an avatar and a banner took 7 years. Just write down people's gamertags, make a note of what you want to say, and in a few years you might be able to say it to them.
-
I've self-K'd on first hook before at 5 gens... but only if it has been like 5 minutes, nothing is being done, team mates are terrible, everybody else is on 1 or 2 hooks. I think it is reasonable to predict exactly what the rest of the game is going to look like, so if I have the opportunity to get out at that point, I'm…

"despite the fact the game (and devs) naturally favors survivors" I just had to read that line to know that this was going to be a rant. Glad you put it near the start so I could skip the rest of the essay.
-
It took them almost 8 years to think of adding emblems and banners. Big meaningful updates will probably take decades.
-
Maybe something like self-care is more powerful if you have already healed somebody else? Bored of everybody in solo Q playing self-care and the game is 50% people hiding in corners healing themselves.
-
I play solo and take a flashlight 50% of the time (toolbox the other) and frequently get multiple flashlight saves in one match, I don't think this challenge is that difficult compared to some others. Why are people who save with the flashlight "jerks" and "the worst people"? Am I missing something.

As a solo survivor player I'd love to see everybody else's perks. A lot of the time it wouldn't make a difference, so it would not be too unbalanced, but like you say in certain situations it would be useful. The only issue is where are they shown? The other survivors' photos are already quite small. Adding 12 perk emblems…
-
Yeah we know, you made two discussions almost within an hour, both to tell us how well you are doing. If I wanted a killer to stay how they are because it was working well for me, I wouldn't constantly brag about how powerful they are, and how easy I find it to win with them. That might be the sort of thing that ends up in…
-
I swear there's some killer reddit group somewhere where they come up with these fake "survivor" ideas for posts. "We're deeply sorry for this." Cringe af whether you are a killer (most likely) or a self-hating survivor.
-
His size is a problem, he's too damn small. Simple solution: make his ghost permanent. OR drop a two foot tall survivor tomorrow. Let me play with the same height advantage Chucky has.
-
I stand by what I said. A survivor player who doesn't like Windows, because it makes the game too "ez", should stop using Windows if they want a challenge. OP is basically saying: "A large number of survivors like something how it is, but I don't like it... so can you change it in a way that most survivors would like it…
-
If you dislike using it that is fine, I never use it myself. But we aren't posting on the forum volunteering that the most used survivor perk in the game be nerfed because we don't like it. We just don't use it. I do not buy that a survivor would ask for a perk they use to be made weaker. I just don't, it makes no sense.…
-
Just unhooked a bot, I had a medkit and We'll Make It, and the bot started to self-heal. I left the bot in the basement and 30 seconds later it was still healing, and the killer returned and downed it again. A bit of code that lets the bot recognise what perks the real survivors are playing, and it works out what would…
-
Immediately after MFT gets a re-work, here come the killers pretending to be survivors asking that Windows gets a re-work. What survivor who loves using Windows would make a post asking that the devs adjust it to make it weaker? If you really are a survivor asking for a perk you use to be made worse (which I doubt) because…
-
Camp Crystal Lake would be cool if they ever get Jason. Some of the maps on the Friday the 13th game were great.
-
I don't care about his perks or his speed... but you can't see him most of the time, he is tiny. Do you think if the devs added a two foot tall survivor that you could barely see, killers wouldn't have exploded?
-
Yup but that's free. Get your wallet out. That's what they want.
-
It's only empty if you don't buy the new DLC, if you do that you get a cool picture. Figured out why they've done it like this yet?
-
Most games end with somebody salty complaining or accusing somebody about something or other, welcome to DBD.
-
They haven't got everybody's money yet. Once they have, the new killer gets a nerf, they start the promo of the next must-have killer. The DBDLC business model.
-
All I can give is my own experience. I have played another 30 games since my last comment and I have not seen Xeno once. "Devs did not change him at all." "They fixed bug and reverted his one buff to PTB version." Yeah... that's the change they made after everybody bought it.
-
Xeno might not be dead but I have seen it once in my last 50 games, so from my experience it is at least dying. I don't blame people for pre-empting a Chucky nerf. Xeno came out, he was everywhere, super strong, survivors struggling to fight back, then the devs make changes, it becomes easier to play against, now you…
-
I made this suggestion about a year ago and heard nothing back. https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/359543/changes-to-bloodweb If it takes as long as it took to get fast bloodweb unlock... we will get this feature in 7 years.
-
If so many survivors are trying to get you out of lockers that you need to make a forum post about it asking them to stop... maybe you are spending too much time in lockers.
-
If you can do it, and it isn't against the rules, go for it. Your friends are the DBD equivalent of a medieval archer complaining about crossbows, who gets bullseye'd from a hundred feet mid-rant.
-
Your argument is that because lots of people use it, we need to make it less powerful? The logic makes no sense. You have no reason to nerf it? You just... want to.
-
I haven't ever seen four survivors take four brand new parts and use all four on one generator to save 40 seconds. If you see it "every so often" you are very unlucky.
-
"Having an on demand -40 seconds on a generator is absolutely huge." How does Brand New Part save 40 seconds on a generator? Do you mean if every survivor brings it and uses it on one generator? Has that ever happened?
-
After complaining about Prove Thyself, the devs reduced its strength. After complaining about Brand New Part, the devs reduced its strength. After complaining about Dead Hard, devs reduced its strength. After complaining about Made For This, devs are about to reduce its strength. They released Xeno which destroyed…
-
From the two videos it looks sus. Should record the whole match and send it in for the devs to look at. If they say "action has been taken" you will know, and if that happens, let us know.
-
Uninstalling a game and being glad to be rid of it... then coming onto the game's forum to complain about the game, seems a bit pointless to me. You are DBD-free, go enjoy yourself.
-
I want to spend the least amount of time possible in post-game chat. It's a cesspit. It's Mos Eisley Cantina. You close your eyes and mash CONTINUE until your keyboard is dust just to avoid getting into a conversation. Good luck with it though.
-
Objectively (having no opinion on most of the subjects you discuss) your topics are overwhelmingly negative, and it is just untrue to say they aren't.
-
Most games are not a team versus one person, so it is going to feel more personal when you lose. It sounds like the problem in this case is toxic survivors, so just file this under "survivors and/or killers are toxic" with the other thousands of topics.
-
Don't see him that much anymore. They got everybody to buy it and then made it less strong (as I said they would). Onto the next OP DLC killer, get your wallets ready.
-
Already bored of the "well if I can't camp I will just have to slug" huff mentality. Do it then, so what. Would much rather be on the ground with a chance of crawling away or being healed than being hooked with some drooling camper staring at me.
-
The best advice is from the person who said play Blight or Nurse. If something is not working: alter your gameplay, try a different character, different perks, add-ons, offerings. Change your strategy. Don't demand that the devs change the game and just sit and wait for it to happen. It might never happen.
-
Play Bond while you get used to the game, great perk for finding gens to work on, seeing who needs healing, finding somebody to heal you, figuring out where the killer is from seeing who is being chased etc.
-
They will nerf Xeno as soon as they hit their target sales of the DLC, guarantee it. Then move onto making the next poweful killer for the next DLC, wait until everybody that buys that, then nerf that, and so on.
-
Call my cynical, but with DLC killers, I feel like they release them at their most powerful, get everybody to buy them, then nerf them and get ready to release the new DLC killer with the poweful perks and abilities, and so on. So will they ever make Freddy as powerful as he used to be when everybody used to play him? Not…
-
These examples sound pretty clear cut and there's not really any way to misinterpret them as anything but survivor and killer working together to get other survivors killed. All I would add is, was there no farming going on throughout the game that you hadn't noticed? In my example in an earlier post three of us were…
-
There would be a penalty for genuine working with the killer to get other survivors killed yes. It gives that as an example of reportable behaviour under 'unsportsmanlike conduct' when you go to report somebody.
-
I've been playing semi-regularly since about 2019. It's about as unenjoyable now as it ever has been. Survivors are just quitting when they see Xeno.
-
My first thought is, were they farming not teaming? I remember a game where the first thing that happened was the killer came up to me and nodded, I tbagged back, and we went around dropping pallets and smashing them, then another survivor came over and joined in, and then another. We worked together to get bloodpoints.…
-
Nurse or Spirit, you don't really have to explain their powers, it would just come across watching it and look really cool in a movie. Somebody like Doctor or Clown it's not immediately clear what it is they are doing with their powers so I'm not sure the audience would understand what was going on.
-
Part of the problem is people's logic. "I slug because survivors tbag at gate/hatch." "I tbag at the gate/hatch because killers slug." What you mean is you are slugging this group of survivors, because a survivor in another game tbagged at the gate/hatch. You mean that you are tbagging at the gate/hatch because a different…

People on the internet are ***holes when they can be anonymous. The ***hole factor goes up when the competition of online gaming is added. It goes up a notch further when the game in question's entire existence is based on us vs. them. So it is just a perfect storm to witness toxic behaviour.
