  • Agreed, it’s quite annoying… Mainly because I feel like I don’t have a chance to get away or put up a chase One killer strikes me and does that delay animation, the other steams towards me and finishes the job. It’s not really fair
  • sorry I just saw you specified killer there was one I saw that made the unknown look like the wolf from red riding hood (in the night gown & everything) that looked pretty cool… can’t find it atm
  • Honestly? The only few situations I’ve come across are team mates leading the killer over to others, and team mates not doing generators but I assume it’s because they want to get as many points so they’re opening chests, prioritising unhooking/healing & cleansing totems.. the 400% extra BP is just too delicious and people…
  • Yeah… I’m really not looking forward to returning to 1v4. I think once my rift & challenges are completed I’m going to take a break from DBD until 2v8 comes back (assuming it does)
  • Kate was my go to for a while, but I switched to Mikaela and now it's Sable (She's perfect imo) I love Lara, I think she's a fantastic addition to the game… Although the downside of licensed characters is you can't expect them to get many outfits in future, if ever. Killer wise… Tiffany (Chucky Legendary skin) I love her…
  • I think the mode has been well received enough for it to be a permanent addition to the game I disagree with those who say this will “kill” the game… Far from it, this is the breath of fresh air we needed. Nearly 100k players on DBD steam during 2v8’s launch, with many veterans (myself included) returning to check this…
  • I honestly can’t stand the sportswear submissions… Congrats to the winners obv, but tracksuits and chav wear needs to be stopped and unable to be in any future contests I agree that men are left out when it comes to these contests, it’s definitely all about popularity. From a business perspective I see why the developers…
  • 1v4 feels very empty & not as fun now - I don’t want to go back. if the developers could work on & improve 2v8 this could be a really big thing for DBD. I honestly haven’t had this much fun in aaaages I understand there are those who are against this mode, but honestly this is a work in progress - all subject to change.…
  • I’ve had this a few times You just click on the challenge you completed in the tome and it should fix it - worked for me anyway
  • +1 Really hope they add on more to this. What they have is so chaotic yet insanely fun… Really wishing Chucky becomes apart of this mode sooner rather than later, I would que for ages just to play as him in this. (I bought him, but hate playing killer alone) Im dreading returning to 1v4 - It’s going to feel so empty.
  • Yeah, it makes no sense for killers to be able to slug survivors in this mode… However the whole slugging technique isn't as common as people imply - in my hours long game time playing survivor I have yet to come across killers doing that. The one time a killer left me on the floor was because they got greedy and decided…
  • Many are just excited they can finally play the killer role with their friends. The most I’ve waited is around 10-15 minutes, but I guess it depends what time of day you play (diff time zones and such) I imagine this will be something like when a new killer is released, the survivor’s role becomes instant for a while but…
in 2v8 Mode Comment by scottydoggie July 28
  • I think DBD's player base is big enough to split up Have you guys seen how much the player base spiked when 2v8 launched? On Steam alone it nearly reached 100k, god knows how much on consoles… It would be in BHVR's best interest to make this a permanent game mode and tweak it where need be The demand for 2v8 has been…
  • BHVR did say that we should bare with as it's a new game mode, it's not going to be perfect at launch - it's something they will continue to work on providing it's popular enough to be a permanent addition to the game I think any critic in regards to 2v8 is valid - as long as it's respectable then it's fine..
  • It doesn't surprise me, in many games healer seems to be considered the weakest role and are usually the least popular… Personally it's my favourite - seeing injured survivors? Give me those extra points
  • I agree, I think the killer que is so long because people are just excited they can finally play as killers with their friends - I don't blame them, this is something we have always wanted. I'm usually a survivor main and I dont think 2v8 is too difficult, I escape most of the time… What's annoying is when killers stay…
  • I'm sorry you got accused, and good on you for having evidence that backs up your case. Considering the current situation with an influx of hackers, the community are more than likely just on edge.
  • Anyone would think this game is still in beta for 6 years
  • Unfortunately, I'm not artistic enough. I always have these amazing images in my head but I can never seem to get them down on paper... It ends up looking like a kid's drawing. Can't wait to see what the community come up with. My only wish is that the developers are a tad faster in implementing it... Because at the moment…
  • I personally don't understand the whole 'will x be the death of DBD?' No developer makes a game with that idea in their mind. It's like with VHS, all people ever did was talk about this rivalry that only existed amongst the fans while the developers were bantering with each other on Twitter. Each new asymmetrical game will…
  • It's unfortunate, and this is becoming more of a regular occurrence. Needless to say, I'm devastated. The hackers that are in DBD are actually going to target VHS too... A game that's not officially launched yet. I really do hope legal action is taken against these hackers, because not only are they affecting people's…
  • I'm quite shocked at the amount of people who are against this idea. Even the comment that says 'we dont have the biggest playerbase' ....There's 28k people online at the moment on Steam, and not sure how many on console. Is everyone aware it's been 6 years of the exact same game? The only difference is they've added new…
  • For your first point, I don't deem the chat necessary overall. I don't consider 'gg wp' a means to keeping the chat around, other than that people use it for aggressive behaviour or VERY rarely, using it for banter. As I said to amazing_grace earlier, survivors and killers now are majoritively running the same meta builds…
  • I do like this idea! Thank you for your comment.
  • Cant do anything with this I'm afraid, I'm gonna need you to elaborate :) Or at least bounce off my idea and propose a more fair option.... Blunt replies don't really contribute much.
  • I do understand where you're coming from, and I see why people fear this implementation will ruin players current 'unique perk layout', but at the moment majority of survivors and killers use very similar perk layouts as it is... Which defeats any sense of uniqueness. Nowadays, I just expect killers to have BBQ and Chili…
  • That's where the beauty comes in where people would be torn between... A.) Playing their favourite survivor, puckering down and getting on with it and making do with the variety of shareable perks OR B.) Play a survivor they absolutely hate for the sake of slightly min-maxing and having a microscopic advantage over other…
  • What interests me is the developers gave the "Okay" signal on releasing this... Like, they didn't think she looked weird. I know essentially they copied and pasted her from Capcom's engine but my god she looks like an offspring of Nea and Quentin. I hope her face gets fixed eventually because DBD are renewing old…
