Because the frame rate would be so slow and choppy, I personally found it hard to keep up with quick survivor movements. It also made playing aim-dependent or fast dashing killers such as Huntress, Blight, Oni, and Deathslinger harder to use effectively

Yea this is a solid loadout. You can probably make Spine Chill your swappable perk in case you wanna switch things up or go for a challenge

Yup I'm on series x too and I just noticed this today. I only match up with series x people whether I play survivor or killer. Also I don't even have the option to enable/disable crossplay in the options menu

Yup I switched from xbox one to series x and I immediately noticed that everyone I was matched with had the crossplay symbol 9.9 times out of 10. Disabling crossplay considerably increases your wait times

Guys, there's a new hot fix patch that just went live a few minutes ago. Restart your xbox and download it. I can confirm the game works fine now on xbox series x

I can confirm that this is probably the patch for xbox series x people. I restarted my xbox, downloaded the patch, and the game runs fine now. No crashes or freezes

As survivor, I recently tried out We’ll Make It and really liked insta healing teammates after unhooking them. I combined this with BT for my altruism build and it works well

Unfortunately no. The devs and mods keep saying they're working on it and will get it out as soon as possible. If you want to get your next gen fix though, you can make a new xbox profile and play from scratch. I know it's lame and doesn't help you progress your Rift pass but at least its something 😪

I was able to play DBD on my series x by making a new account and starting from scratch (only to hold me over until this god forsaken patch). I enabled cross play and noticed I mainly get matched up with either PS4/PS5 or PC players with the globe symbol.

I use BBQ, Ruin, Enduring, and Whispers/Spirit Fury

On xbox one, I would have crossplay on when I'm survivor and off for killer. However, after playing the next gen update on the series x, I will have crossplay on for both roles as I think the hardware allows for a somewhat more equal playing field.

I think it’s too slow and unreliable to run by itself most of the time. When I was leveling up Claudette, I used botany knowledge + self care which was better but again that’s 2 perk slots. Honestly, there is more than enough evidence (videos, testimonials, etc.) at this point. They all show and describe the same problem. All that's left to do is to pray to The Entity for a relatively quick patch by Behavior

It's such a shame because I just checked out the optimized version of Sea of Thieves, and I was brought to tears by its amazing graphics and smooth frame rate compared to the xbox one. Just makes me wish for this updated DBD patch even more 😪
