It's near enough the same as PC.. it can be a bit more difficult to land in the open hits or "shoulder flicks" but other then that you can still go for some crazy plays like on PC.2 -

They do not give a direct advantage to the killer. The techs open up more fun mind games that are more difficult to achieve rather then "bounce until guaranteed hit"1
