i disagree. If you’re looking at the game where it’s like Freddy on Haddonfield and the Freddy tunneled a player and they got mad so they decided to go next on hook, I would still say that Freddy on Haddonfield is a necessary sacrifice for the entirety of the game. The players who see that it’s a Knight and insta go next…
-
it would combat players offing themselves on hook because “they don’t like a certain killer” or they want to avoid the penalty to join a SWF.. imo there’s more positives to BHVR adding a system like this then negatives.
-
They need to make a mechanic such as covenants/cults where if a player dies on hook at 4-5 gens (so 3v1 at 4-5gens left) another player will spawn in. That would combat and add an overall more enjoyable experience for mainly solo Q. This would not be OP against the killer since it would still be the start of the game. This…

the player base is way to large to offer trades like this anymore. Maybe if it was 2016-2017
-
It's a flashlight buff which is needed imo, the addons should be updated as well. shadowborn is not a strong perk mainly because it's just the accessibility feature for this games killer FOV which is sad. awhile back I suggested already that this game should have a 5th slot for hexes and boons. but CoH being basekit is far…
-
it's be a buff to survivor for flashlight blinds.... more FOV for the killer means more angles for survivor..it'd be win win, you won't window tech or 360 a killer that knows what's going on anyway and a killer that's lesser experienced is going to be spending days getting 360 with or without shadowborn.
-
Indeed... but this is why discussions must be had :)
-
Solo que has always been garbage.. from 2016-now nothing has really changed in that regard
-
Solo que has always been garbage.. that’s why when I read these “solo is now dead” I shake my head… solo que will never die… BHVR knows that solo has to be brought closer to SWF, so what actually did they do wrong with solo? They did so many good things for killer and they took mjnolir to the meta perks which is amazing..
-
To be fair you're comparing a map to the change of the meta. it takes time finding the playstyle you like, making a build etc... it doesn't take much to notice that certain jungle gyms next too each other can be stupid powerful for survivors.
-
That happened anyways when it was 5 seconds.... does the idea of running 2 more seconds matter all that much?
-
When it comes too PVP thats exactly what a dev team should want... especially when it comes to the chase...
-
Removing player options should never be the answer for a dev team. doing so causes the game to go stale/frustrates the player more because of the lack of options they have in the game
-
So the players of the game should not have a choice in which they play their game?
-
agreed I've heard rumors that the devs have mentioned that they're going to "fix" the hug tech now.. nothing ever comes but bandaides....
-
Thank ya :)
-
If you're getting "downed" from the tinkerer killers you may need a training wheel yourself..... I suggest Spine Chill, that will give you the brief moment to run and make it to one of the many pallet tiles. There is always an answer on the survivors side.
-
It's near enough the same as PC.. it can be a bit more difficult to land in the open hits or "shoulder flicks" but other then that you can still go for some crazy plays like on PC.
-
They do not give a direct advantage to the killer. The techs open up more fun mind games that are more difficult to achieve rather then "bounce until guaranteed hit"
-
punish players for playing with friends? that's not a good way of attracting new comers and would also push players away. The best thing for the devs to do and for the game is for them to buff solo up to or as close to SWF as possible and then buff killers to compensate....... NERF is never really a good route to take…
-
best type of main ;)
-
I never said anything was "wrong" with the "validation system" or how it works. The system is far to unpolished, ugly and annoying.... it looks out of sync because it's been released to early. the activation now happens at the press of the button, rather then the start of an animation. That's why pallet drops and DH are as…
-
you are tweaked over a moon rush? arguably the most difficult thing to pull off in DBD... you'd be tweaked if a trapper or billy etc.. body blocked you into an insta-down, even though it's your own fault.
-
until you remember that her phase is only 5 seconds.... So there's no point...
-
Shadowborn should be basekit.... tinkerer should operate like the Ace perk that affects aura reading or other perks in some way... shadowborn should be current tinkerer. In no way should the FOV ever be considered for balance... Players should always be able to play either role and have an enjoyable experience....
-
Try harder next time
-
The best way that I can see to “nerf” the perk is to make it reactionary.. so when the killer swings the survivor must react fast enough to avoid the attack.. this being said I don’t think full exhaustion is warranted, though being able to spam DH throughout the match would be OP so a 30 to potential 25 second exhausted…
-
heyyy... I like flicking on survivors when they try to hide behind snow piles or try to use certain cars that have no collision as shields as well. his power is less predictable for sure but when you begin to pick out the objects that don't have collision you can really surprise some survivors with some plays.
-
The ring is nothing compared to old omega blink and iri head was given a dirty band aide........ reasoning why the ring is nothing compared to the others is it's not a "crutch", Omega blink as difficult as Nurse can be gave the player a crutch because of what the old addons provided for the lesser experienced nurses, iri…
-
Yes I am.
-
If they botch this Mid-chapter update then I'll be right there with you... Seeing the list of killers for "addon changes" still worries me, if Billy's don't come out with a nice buff and if Blights don't come out as is and there's more nerfs across the board I'm probably going to be watching VHS from afar and then support…
-
but it's not too strong... You may be looking at the top point something percent of blights..... in which I say if we can't nerf survivors because it's just a small percentage that are death squads then we shouldn't do it to an even smaller percentage of the community.... because like 80% of blights will land like 3 lethal…
-
weve a killer that does the same thing but a bit better because she goes through walls but some how the ring is too strong on a character that bounces off walls?
-
We really need to keep this going lol <3
-
perks are band aide fixes, we need base kit buffs/changes to both solo and killer... and this most likely wont happen without having a portion of the community flipping out because they think "their being punished!!!" when the other 2 ways to play are trash compared too SWF.
-
8 months… yes it felt good
-
To answer the title.. YESS!!! It’s no where near as awful as it was prior. It’s more consistent games are great. And it’s less frequent that I get a depip/death squad.. and survivor games are much better as well
-
No
-
It’s the answer to everything Dude… Maps need a rework? Nerf pig..
-
It would be great if we could pick up the totems and replace them.... kind of like Trappers traps for example.
-
The best part is that the content creators kept on saying “the game shouldn’t be balanced for the top %” and that bhvr should balance for the casual part of the community… SBMM is a pretty good change overall in that spectrum.. hopefully they’ll change their minds after some long queues and such.
-
The objective is far too easy too complete even on the most difficult maps.... Solo survivor is... arguably the most difficult to play, I am not going to say "weakest" because the game is still survivor sided. I will state that the game is in it's best state balance wise and lot's has changed but I am hoping the devs…
-
Less work would be involved making for a faster conversion then my idea... It would be kinda cool having a different section of the hospital in rotation... either way I'd like to see something of the sort for Swamp because current Swamp is terrible.
-
If/when they decide to discard/rework Swamp, there will be a celebratory happiness in most of the DBD community.
-
You know that the SBMM is going to adjust as long as you continue to play right?
-
I'm sure this is a thread for killers that would rather play without the Ruin, UD, Tinkerer meta.... Also Perhaps that slugging nurse, spirit etc... went through something like this OP... they decided they wanted to play a game with clown or legion etc... and are quickly reminded why they shouldn't play these killers....
-
fingers crossed!! Tomorrow SBMM comes in, Pinhead comes in... some awesome perks... I hope that some awesome Optimization comes as well!
-
That’s another thing I’m excited about… no more having to wait like 2 months to depip low enough just practice a difficult/new killer at comfortable level of play..
-
That last test was the best matchmaking I’ve experienced
