It's nothing to worry about, maybe they'll eventually negotiate new terms to allow more freedom but for now just enjoy the mode. There are bigger issues with the game to deal with...1 -

A petty survivor can quit knowing a bot will be left behind, but a killer can't do it in return because it would just end the match. Killers couldn't complete adept achievements on bots, I don't know…2 -
