Do devs think that chasing survivors is not a challenge anymore?

There are still more than enough Hooks on new Lerys to carry a Survivor to one of them without any problems (except you used all of them in a certain area, but this goes for all Maps).

The challenge is that it will eat up more of your time hooking a survivor so you lose pressure. We'll just have to see how they define "slight".

That’s actually good. It gives survivors more chance to actually have the wiggle bar for a reason other than points. Not saying that killer nerfs are good, but it’ll make the flow of the game slightly better... minus the death of old ruin

To be fair, you are not supposed to wiggle off, wiggling only exists so that the Killer cannot carry a Survivor to the Basement all the time. From what I have seen (only two games on Lerys as Killer so far on Live), people will still have no chance of wiggling off the Killers Shoulder.

I'm not sure where that was mentioned, but no, that's not the case at all. The hooks on Lery's were previously very abundant, so they were toned down slightly. Now they'll be more in line with other maps.

also it says they made some pallets safer, this map ( new Lerys ) already had some pretty strong pallets.

Have you guys never played on old Lery's? The hooks were super close to each other compared to other maps. They're literally more in line with the other maps now. "omg all these killer nerfs" 4head.

Your title is misleading. You should mention that it is only for the Hospital rework. I am fine with this as the map is reworked and hook distance should be adjusted for proper balance.

Map still is a mess of luck as opposed to skill so the same problems still exist with this map.
I am fine with it though, tbh I prefer luck over skill it's why I like maps like this, they even the playing field more because matchmaker is so broken.

As always everything is done for the survivors what about the killer? What happens when you get some ######### rng on the map and have no hooks nearby? Free wiggle off or you're just gonna have to slug that guy.

Boil Over Rework: Must hit a Great Skillcheck to hook the survivor. Failing to hit the great skillcheck makes you have to wait 3/4/5 seconds until the next hook skill check prompt.

Survivors - give them fun
Killers - give them unfair odds not challenge because challenge implies it's balanced in this game you can be the best killer but lose to potatoes unlike say battlefield 4 if you will.

That's very narrow-sighted, there are points before and after stating that changes to other aspects of the map were done but people are ignoring those and focusing on the one change.

Can everyone calm down. Not every map got their hooks spaced out. (even though they should especially on old maps) It only happened to Lery's to make it match up with the other maps.

Nerf Doc and Ruin for being "Too challenging" for survivors. In the same update you also nerf hooks to make the game "more challenging" for killer...
Will you ever address the clear and blatant bias you guys have for survivor?

Why you are still nerfing all around killers? What about some survivor nerfs? Where is some challenge for survivors? Its one nerf after one for killers, you are making this game so no-brain for survivors meanwhile killers are becoming so hard. Change my mind that BHVR is not survivor sided, because I see constant nerfing of killers.

Ran into a map last night, The Temple of Purgation, that had three hooks in the basement of the Temple which also contained killer basement. So, basically seven hooks within about 10m of each other.

i played as killer a lot yesterday and had NO problem whatsoever with the hook distance :) sorry it’s such a big deal to you! Run agitation or iron grasp if you’re having such difficulties!

How about survivors use Prove Thyself or simply cleanse totems if they can't handle ruin :)

Survivors still have it rough, though. I mean, hooks were so close, people used ruin, and there are STILL kilelrs in the game. When will this be addressed so survivors can be happy?

I really noticed this last night, played as Hag and had two survivors wiggle off my back on the way to hooks, like come on BHVR?!?!?
