Right now i have the free rift maxed out. Im wondering if i decide to buy the premium pass will it automatically fill that one to the max and get the items or will i have to do it again.

    You get everything when you pay for the pass

    You'll receive all the premium rewards up to the current tier that you've unlocked. So in your case, if you've completed up to tier 70, you'll instantly receive every single reward from the premium rift if you buy the pass.

    Basically, it doesn't matter when you buy it. You can buy it the moment it comes out or after finishing the whole thing, you'll still get all the rewards for the tiers you've done.
