Crawling surivor with active reverse trap leaving through open gate, does not trigger trap-death.

Silent Hill map (maybe others as well, I didn't test it)
Crawling surivor with active reverse trap leaving through open gate does not trigger insta-death, but they crawl out like they have no trap at all, or like they would escape through hatch. Description says it should kill them IF trap is active AND they try to leave through gate - both conditions were fulfilled.
I think i had "video tape" and "face mask" addons, but can't say for sure.
Perks used that game were:
-make your choice;
-nemesis;
-hex:ruin;
-furtive chase.
Every perk was on level 1, with "hazy reagent" offering.
I downed survivor with basic attack (LMB) while she was mid-searching Jigsaw box, then i carried her to the open gate. Endgame collapse timer was almost at the end, so she had no choice but to exit through gate...and she survived. I think we both were surprised.

There is a point in the "exit area" that if the killer carries the survivor to this point they can escape freely...this is to prevent griefing. I am presuming that you carried the survivor to this point, so yes they can escape freely then.

Until now i did not know such point existed. Can I check somewhere where does that "line" starts? After that i can say for sure if this was my misplay or something is up.

it's starts just inside the exit area

Hmmm...peculiar. I suppose it was my misplay then. Thank you for info.
I think it is not a bug as i clearly dropped survivor right before escape line.
