Moving from Xbox to PC (Steam)
Any tips or tricks I should know or practice? On my Xbox account, I was red ranks with both killer and survivor but I recently picked up a laptop and am looking to get back into PC gaming after being away for 15 odd years or so. Been a long time since I played with a mouse and keyboard so I'm sure I'll be a little rusty.

I play with a controller on PC. For survivor I heard it shouldn’t make that much of a difference. For killers mouse is more precise, for certain killers this makes a huge difference!
think about rebinding struggle to mousewheel if you don’t wanna violate your space, play with mouse sensitivity options.

I switch between a controller and K&M quite often as a Survivor due to a shoulder issue - yes there's a difference, you can definitely loop better with K&M as you can make more precise movements...so I definitely recommend getting used to playing with it as quickly as possible, try the tutorial a few times for playing around with it. Don't forget you can also rebind your keys to make it easier to do certain things - for example Struggle, a lot of people rebind to the mouse scroll wheel, it makes it much easier to struggle instead of spamming the space bar.

So I keep seeing people say to bind struggle to the mouse wheel but I'm actually at a loss as to how that would work? Like in the struggle phase, you're just scrolling down with the wheel? I know it's a strange question but I'm trying to understand!

@xBEATDOWNSx yes that's exactly it...so instead of spamming space bar, you're just moving your scroll wheel either down or up whichever way you set it for, it really does make it a lot easier and less annoying to do.
Also I have skill checks bound to one of my spare mouse buttons, so I have my other hand free on the keyboard. It's a good idea to play around with the keybindings in the Tutorial to see what feels comfortable for you.
