Game doesn't update properly

in Bug Reporting

Steps to replicate:

  1. update game
  2. open game
  3. wait 1-5 minutes
  4. anti-cheat kicks me from game (picture below) for "modified game files"

Steps to fix:

  1. Verify game files through steam
  2. apparently I am missing 1-50 file(s)
  3. steam reinstalls 0.5-1.5GB of game

Frequency: Every update for the last 1-2 months

    Definitely try to clear your Steam download cache, I used to have this problem but since clearing it a few months back (and doing it regularly) I've not had the dreaded Error 4 in quite some time.
