Sorry to be pestering these fourms so much - I just had a few questions on how the hatch works, as well as a little bit of end-game results screen questions related to a certain hatch-reliant scenario.

  • After the killer shuts the hatch and starts the endgame collapse, can it be reopened again with a key, or some kind of perk, or is it closed regardless from that point forward?
  • Does the hatch's audio queue play to the killer when it's closed as well, or only when it's open?
  • Assuming a survivor uses their key to open the hatch, and fully consumes the key (resulting in its loss), would it still appear on the endgame screen, or would it be seen as 'no item'?

    The answer to the 3rd one is, if they brought the item into the match with them, it will be shown on the end screen regardless of whether it was consumed or not. However, if they found the item in a chest in game, it doesn't show in the end screen.

    There's also no perk that can open the hatch, it's only with a key.
