Disappointed with part 2 developer update
No changes for Legion and Ghost Face, but yet you buffed addons for Letherface that is already in good state. Another useless buffs for perks and addons that no one will use them anyway, because of the meta. Yet you decided to nerf somehow decend addons for some killers for literally no reason.
No changes for Boons, Dead Hard and Cenobite whatsover. What's the point of even playing in this tomorrow's PTB?
But yeah removing masks for Letherface is such a high priority right now, awesome.

Did you guys literally buffed power struggle? A perk that literally has no counterplay against 4 man SWF?

To be fair. It already had little against them so this buff just makes that one solo/duo maybe proc it. Probably not though because every solo game even if i drop on a pallet the killer instant picks up.

Who in BHVR thought that power struggle is too weak? Do you guys even play your own game? It was already broken with unbreakable and flip flop

And that's nice furtive chase got changed but it doesn't really change the fact that it only decreases tr in chase and that doesn't really help killers that aren't stealth considering there's a giant glowing red light in front of killers

Just wait for the PTB. This is not everything and you should leave your critique for the final Patch Notes. This is just an update on their thought-progress.
And why nerf Cenobite? He is already in a good spot, not too strong and not too weak. His base power is maybe even of the shorter end of the stick with its risk to reward ratio and little reward for long range shots.

They buffed an already strong perk that is boosted with specific build and it's only useful for SWF, but most of the changes to the perks are literally useless, they're strill gonna be not used by survivors and killers.
The only good change here is for Dead Man's Switch

Then why you guys can't mention all the upcoming changes in developer update? We need health-changes updates. Most of us don't care about removing Letherface's masks. It's only the cosmetics.

It's for the biggest changes. They're not going to waste time writing up every minor detail for a quick forum update.

Remember each time there is a new perk coming? People call them OP and they're actually never used... (Well, exception for CoH.)

You know how boosted this perk is with SWF? This perk was horrible, because it was situational and useful with specific build. Instead of making it even more boosted, they should completely rework this perk to be also useful for solo players and be counterable by a killers.

Then I sincerely hope they've got some of the most important stuff tucked away for tomorrow, because Part 2 is... pretty bad. Didn't address some major issues with current gameplay and didn't deliver any promised character reworks. And Bubba's masks getting nuked is just depressing.
I wonder if the developers would be interested in a dialogue about the perk changes? Several of the perks they tried to buff are still really, really bad because the buff didn't address a massive flaw with the perk's design. Dead Man's Switch and Gearhead got buffs that fixed their issues. Distortion fails because there's no way to regenerate tokens, so if a killer has BBQ or any aura addons, they're going to burn through everything you've got at the start of the trial and then it's a dead perk. Remember Me flops because No Way Out trumps it in every conceivable way and it doesn't bring anything to the table that that perk doesn't, and also because Remember Me doesn't affect the Obsession and there's one player that can open the gates like normal. Buckle Up is just a bad effect that players can figure out by themselves - killer aura reading isn't strong enough to justify the perk, and very often in slug pickup situations, the killer is very close by and you don't need an aura read to see them. What Buckle Up needs is some numbers buff around pickups, or Endurance to the player who gets picked up, or something tangible. And Furtive Chase no longer losing its effect if the Obsession dies is great (really, losing tokens when the Obsession dies should rarely be a thing), but losing your TR in chase is just not a useful effect. The person you're chasing already knows you're nearby. Nearby players will see you running after the survivor and hear all the fast vaults. I think the point of the perk is to be able to break off from a chase and surprise someone nearby, but that's something that either works perfectly on its own due to survivors feeling assured that you're wrapped up in chasing someone else and ignore the nearby TR, or it doesn't work because they're on comms and tell each other what you're doing.

I think we all can agree we are disappointed
The devs said it wasn't gonna be survivor sided but no mention of boon changes, no mention of dead hard
And the add on changes for killers as perk changes for killers while great really won't shift the meta that much which is disappointing

I was expecting Legion and ghostface changes cause the devs said in the last Q&A that they were the next killers on their list.

Ah yes, just throw in "SWF" to pretend that a bad Perk is good.
All the complaints are about SWFs stacking Meta-Perks, but nope, SWFs stacking Power Struggle is the big deal. The Perk was bad and it will probably not used much after the Buff.

You literally didn't played against 4 man SWF against this perk with flip flop and unbreakable. They down themselves under the pallet and the other survivor is pressuring you, wasting your time to activate power struggle and the survivor pressuring you also has power struggle and is under the pallet and the process repeats again.

It'll be problematic, you know how fast you gain a wiggle progress combined it with unbreakable and flip flop? You will either need to pick up instantly without looking or slug the downed survivor under a pallet.

Well, color me disappointed then, if all the largest topics have been discussed in the Dev Updates. On the Survivor side they have a huge teaser to gameplay info experience and a revamp of a game mechanic that has an effect for all Survivors in the form of an opt-in beta that also gives bonus BP, and Killer has nothing new apart from more gen info/block, yay.... Has the idea for base-kit Mori's been shelved?

Oh man. More killer addon changes, yet Pyramid Head, the killer with the worst set of addons in the entire game, goes for another year with zero changes to his whole terrible assortment of garbage.

Honestly, this discussion is so December 2020, it is just boring. Once again someone overreacts because of a Perk Buff. Classical DBD-Forum.
It is exactly the same stuff when the Perk got released - Oh no, SWFs will play builds around it and you cannot pick up Survivors anymore. And it will not happen.
