Rework the Report System
To report a cheater requires video proof to get action taken. Yet, our current report system does not have a way to send video or even natively collect said video. So currently, by my understanding, this iteration of the report system is creating work for the feedback team that they can't act on.

I appreciate the frustration around the report system, it is the same for all platforms as well unfortunately as video evidence is required for most reports and those need to be sent with a Support ticket.
Playstation and Xbox as well as PC do have these recording features built in but again, it's not the most intuitive thing to use.

@MandyTalk even when we report tru' website they still not banning cheaters or exploiters. I reported a guy days ago with videos aswell, they responded and didn't banned them, and in the video you can see their clearly hacking. So something needs to be done about report system because is not efficient at all.

To clarify, I think part of the suggestion the original poster is making is that the reporting system should have a way to automatically generate a corresponding replay file behind the scenes that gets attached to in-game ticket as the user submits it. That way the onus of creating and attaching video files is removed from the end user and just happens systematically.

How about this:
1. I create an in-game report
2. BHVR sends me an automated email about my report
3. I can reply with a video file in the attachment or with a link to YouTube/twitch
This way it would not be needed to go through that form on the BHVR webpage and copy over various steam or game IDs.

This is a question that we answered in the last Q&A where we answered why we can't implement this.

Ah ok, I took that answer to refer to a match replay system that was user friendly and robust enough for players to be able to rewatch their own matches versus a more limited, perhaps clunkier system that could be used internally for customer service reference. I take it then that the technical difficulties he’s discussing there extend even to internal controls.

It unfortunately comes down to the same thing, it would be a massive undertaking

Ah well, that’s a bummer. 🙁

There isn't "we can't", it's just a matter of time to program such a system. I'm sure bhvr has developers for this, it's just takes time yes and a lot of coding/work but you know the words, hight risk high reward. Such system could benefit this game so much. The actual system in-game report it's 99.9% of time useless, it's just there to be as a placeholder and nothing else let's be honest and no offense.

People will continue to quit the game because of hackers. The numbers are dropping and this is one of the reasons, so you might want to start considering some drastic changes. You can never fully get rid of them but it feels like BHVR isn't doing enough.

if they were working on it, they should have already done it. cheaters has been prominent years ago. 🙄
what do you expect from them. tsk

Why ignoring this suggestion? The report system should be simplified. It is crazy that we need to go a separate website in addition to the in game reporting. Also the in-game report system has absolutely no mention of that website.
