SC nerf making deaf / hard hearing players to quit
Big congrats to BHVR for taking away the only accessibility perk that deaf/hard of hearing players used to let them know when they have to run away. I know a deaf player who is disgusted about the nerf.
Please consider to keep the info as is and nerf other aspects. And I don't know why SC needs a nerf in the first place.

If they had to nerf Spine Chill, then it shouldn't have activated when the Killer had the Undetectable Status Effect, not made the Perk LOS dependant

All it needed was work like before, just not vs killers if they are undetectable. Maybe remove action speed bonus if needs to.
This line of sight change is very strange to me cause its super complicated and not needed to be. And I feel like it must have been hell to code this too. But why like this?

I think the DBD mobile game already provided the solution to that in the form of visual notifications to certain audio cues.

Accessibility shouldnt be a perk. Period.
Dbd mobile has this heart thingy, game just needs accessibility features lile this
And yes, spine chill totally deserves that nerf.

Probably some of the only good things dbd mobile has done

I mean it did. But this just makes the perk unusable tbh. It only (still) hurts Myers and Ghostface (if they want to stalk you).

This might be useful for players with those issues: https://twitter.com/PixelBushYT/status/1539780019299442688
But yes, this kind of accessibility shouldn't be a perk, especially a perk that caused as many problems as Spine Chill. I am 100% in favour of pushing for something like DBD Mobile's visible heart icon, as an optional element for players who need or want it, but we shouldn't be conflating that need with the balance change for Spine Chill that is absolutely warranted.
Also, as the tweet lays out: SC was never the best perk for that to begin with, so you've still got options.

Thank you for your feedback around this, this is something that we've brought up to the team.
(on a personal note, I also do not believe that accessibility should be tied to a perk - as then it's a must have for a portion of our playerbase).

Thank you for acknowledging this! I really hope accessibility options are still possible for this year even though they haven’t been mentioned in the anniversary stream

Τhank you very much for info!
This is a sensitive issue and needs to be addressed asap.

True. Because the 2 killer who need a SC nerf the most are Myers and GF... who need LOS to stalk you....

They can always implement stuff like the visual heartbeat from the mobile game.
SC was stupid and absolutely needed the nerf. It should not be changed back.

I think the removal of the speed boost when the killer was looking your way was enough of a nerf. The speed boost aspect was the most powerful thing about the perk.

It's a problem for basegame and not the perk.

Doesn't DBD mobile have a visual heartbeat to look at too?
Could this be re-implemented into DBD?

I'm not even HOH/Deaf and this was the first thing I thought of when I read about the nerf. I find it hard to believe that an entire team of developers didn't consider it once. We already knew that BHVR had issues with considering accessibility, but damn. Something needs to change, y'all.

The dev update said "clear line of sight."
Maybe this means that Ghostface crouching or leaning to stalk, and Shape stalking through cracks of objects or when the majority of their body is behind cover, does not activate Spine Chill.

I'd be okay with maybe nerfing the range to 24m. Remove the vault speed, hell remove every % bonuses. But requiring LOS just plain kills it.
Before nerfing perks, the dev team needs to ask themselves: "Why would I run ___?"
