Plague infection
Is it intentional that now when you cleanse while in deep wound, you go full health? It used to be that when you cleanse in deep wounds, you just become injured (but not infected).
Is the behavior shown in the clip intentional or is this a bug?

most likely a bug, since the infection takes priority, it might have been overwriting

It happens consistently too so it's not just a one-time thing.

yea, because the cleansing will always take effect first, mending is a second priority for the code i mean
might get fixed might never get fixed lol

No that's definitely a bug. It didn't used to be like that. It should be that you need to mend normally first, then cleanse to become healthy. Cleansing in deep wound should just remove your deep wound and leave you injured (but still remove the infection as it did).
But you're probably better off putting this in the bug reporting section rather than here.

Yeah that's what I'm saying, it used to be different.
Ok ye I probably should. I asked in a ticket and they said they don't know if it's a bug so I should post on forums. Will post in the bug section ty.

Fun fact: if you go into a locker to proc Inner Healing while suffering from Deep Wounds you will only mend but not fully heal. I guess something similiar is supposed to happen here.

Hi, thank you for raising this. I'm checking on the intended behaviour with the Pools of Devotion - previously it was like Adrenaline so if you healed when in Deep Wounds you would still be injured, I'm not sure if something has changed with the Pools of Devotion, but I will look into it for you.

If it helps, I believe this interaction with the fountains changed a few patches ago when Plague’s infection was fixed to properly show survivors the Broken status on the right side of their screen (it used to only show on the left side where all players could see it), maybe that has something to do with it. Forgot about it until now, but this isn’t something new with this most recent update.

thanks for the further information...I never cleanse so it's not something I've come across in a match.

Thanks a lot, you're the best! <3
Yeah, I never do either usually, but I saw two people cleanse while mending and go full health prior to that in my other game and decided to try it myself. I thought maybe I didn't pay enough attention to the HUD of those two people, but turns out I did.
