Did the "Hook screams" change get reverted?
On the PTB, when you hooked a survivor, they would scream the moment the hook pierces their chest, which also resulted in them screaming for a tiny bit longer. However, now that the update got pushed out, it seems like they are back to screaming a second or two after they got hooked? Any reason why it got reverted, because I kinda liked it that way more.

Yes this isn't somethign that went through to the Live Build. The PTB showed issues with the Survivor screams starting sooner (more in line with the animations) and killer perk interactions such as Pain Res. This is unintentional so this proposed change to the screams has been reverted for the time being.
The audio change was not intended to affect perks, it was not a balance change.

the affect on perks was unintentional not the adjustment to the sounds on the PTB.

That's really strange that it was unintentional, since the PTB patch notes mentioned "Reworked how Survivors scream when getting Hooked to make it sound more natural." Bit of a shame, since it was nice to hear the screams for a little bit longer, but ah well.

they are still long if you are far away from the hooked survivor
