Can't Use Medkit on Friend

On Steam me and my friend are playing survivor trials in public matches, and whenever she tries to heal me with a med-kit. The option doesn't pop up, and it doesn't let her use it on me. In every match it has happened, but she can use the med-kit on others.

Were you afflicted by the Broken status effect maybe? This prevents others from healing you. What perks were you using?

No she was healing me normally at the time, before she tried to med kit heal. It just wouldn't give her the option to us the med kit. The perks I had were sprint burst, detectives hunch, circle of healing and exponential. So nothing that would affect it.

Were you trying to use the medkit in the boon area?
