QoL Suggestion

One QoL improvement that I'd personally like to see for solo queue is a screen during the endgame showing how much time was spent by each survivor on a gen.

There's nothing more surprising and delightful than to load into a solo game and find that everyone else in the game is actually halfway interested in completing the main objective. It's all too rare of a phenomenon.

I don't think we should actively penalize survivors in a concrete way for time-wasting, but maybe if we just gently reminded everyone how important it is to actually do gens by giving the survivors who did the most a little dopamine spike at the end of the match and making the survivors who ignored gens maybe wish they had done a little more.

And, yes, this will mean harder games for killers across the board if it worked as intended, at least for a while, but it would also mean more consistent matches, which means the game could be balanced more consistently from there on out.

I don't think that would help. Like, at all. Could probably hurt more, so no from me.

We already have the ability to see in-game who is on a gen and how long etc.

just a counter in endgame tally screen would only promote toxicity, and in many cases completely unwarranted as it would just be out of context. People might not do gens when they are focused by the killer, prioritize unhooking/healing or even destroying hex totems (eg Pentimento) to indirectly boost repair speeds.

I think putting that on the endgame that Elodie did x amount of seconds on a gen, Mikaela did x amount of seconds on a gen - will lead to even more problems and arguments. There will be the inevitable complaints from people in endgame chat blaming someone else for the loss. I think I'd rather have less things like that happening rather than more.

We have the in-game survivor hud which shows who's doing what at any given time - doesn't show if they're hiding cos they're near the killer or anything like that sure, but it also doesn't need to.

Could bHVR consider adding stats for yourself, like the player playing? idd like to know for instance:

    • How long I lasted in a chase, for me to determine the value of a chase related perk.
    • or how many seconds, my use of items/perks shaved off from me doing my actions during the match

There can be many things I am interested in knowing when Im looking at my perks, is this valuable? do I feel this is helpful? If I could see a number I could go like, wow 10 seconds, good value or wow 5 seconds, trash perk.

If the game showed me those stats privately it would be very nice for me when I consider the perks you offer us.

as others said above, it will foster more conflict between survivors.
