Houndmaster dog fails to use chase command near walls

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: When attempting to use the dogs chase command near walls at a parallel angle the dog very consistently disappears in a cloud of black smoke before respawning next to The Houndmaster and forcing the power into cooldown making it effectively useless.

This definitely started happening as of 9.0.0

PLATFORM: Steam PC

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:

  1. While in chase with survivor around a loop, hugging a wall and attempting to ready the chase power causes the dog to disappear in a cloud of black smoke.
  2. Then when launching the dash the dog will simply reappear in place next to The Houndmaster and the power will enter cooldown doing essentially nothing.

    Could you please attach the logs? Be sure they are taken right after encountering the issue.

    To find them:

    1. Press the Windows Key + R to open the "Run" command.
    2. In the text box paste the following: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Logs
    3. Click "OK" - this will open your Dead by Daylight Logs folder.
      • If it does not open the Dead by Daylight Logs folder, it may mean that when installing Dead by Daylight you chose to save your files somewhere else and will need to check there.
    4. The file called "DeadByDaylight.log" is your log file
