Recovering from the down state
I think everyone by now has noticed the cheap trick, (can't wait to hear the killers defense on this) of downing people then leaving them to run and find other people. A good fix for this unsportsman tactic would be to make it so anyone can fully recover from the downed state themselves, not changing the healing speed or anything like that of course.

take unbreakable and stop being entitled

Actually it's a good thing you brought up unbreakable, I guess a more reasonable change would make it so everyone can recover from the dying state by themselves once per match to keep killers from using cheap unsportsman tactics.

As a survivor main it definitely isn’t unsportsmanlike to go after the survivor trying to flashlight you or go after someone you can clearly see working on a gen.

Take Unbreakable or No Mither. You are not entitled to a free escape.

Tenacity, Unbreakable, Adrenaline, and whatever perk you want to add plus a med kit. Run that build and you basically won't have to respect slugging. Take it from a killer main you'll be very difficult to find. Unbreakable allows you to recover from dying once and recover while crawling. Tenacity lets you crawl faster and adrenaline for endgame instant recover.

How is playing tactically unsportsmanlike?
you put them in the ground and lose a boom stage to save yourself 10-15 seconds to allow yourself to go chase someone else (counting pick up and hook times)
its a trade off. That survivor doesn’t get a hook stage, but the killer gets a massive momentum boost.
There are now... *calcs in head* 5 perks that deal with slugging.
unbreakable, tenacity, buckle up, flip flop, and No Mither if you really want to count that.

Play killer yourself and see why people slug
PPeople playing 1 side are hopeless

Slugging is a valid strategy, and it's not even "unsportsmanlike".
If you're worried or annoyed by it, run unbreakable.

Would you rather me run my leather face basement build and camp you with insidious the entire game with zero chance of survival?

Its literally encouraged by some perks to slug, the biggest being knockout, absolutly nothing about it is unsportsman like. Stop being entitled and run counter perks if it bothers you that much.

Slugging (the term for what you're referring to) is a valid tactic and there are a bunch of perks that both help the killer slug more efficiently and help the survivors counter it. A killer can bring deerstalker, for example, to keep tabs on the downed survivors and knock out to stop the other survivors from saving them. Meanwhile survivors can run unbreakable or no mither to recover on their own or tenacity to crawl faster and recover while they're at it. If the killer does decide to do that, a survivor can quickly sprint over and get you up in a fraction of a second.
Allowing anyone to recover from the dying state without any perks, even if it is only once, would greatly reduce the effectiveness of the strategy.

Lets not forget taking Flip-Flop and crawling away from nearby hooks and it's pretty much a guaranteed wriggle if he's not got IG on which lets face it most killers don't these days.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I slug survivors that get unsafely hooked to waste time for survivors. It force's a survivor to get off of a gen to save to the downed survivor and meanwhile I'm chasing someone else. Only one person working on a gen = more time for me to kill survivors.

Such entitlement and delusion. This is the thread that gets made when someone doesn't play killer at all and has no idea what they're talking about.

Slugging is a much better strategy for killers. Some killers can't apply that pressure as well as others. It's one of the effective ways they can apply pressure better. Would you rather have slugging or camping and tunneling?

I'm not sure if this is the right thread for this, but being in the dying state as a survivor is really underwhelming in terms of music, crow interaction, and the survivor's agency. Thought I'd just put that out there.
