And before you say " The are same they have twitch and they play the game there" they maybe like 10-15 of those out of 549 employees (at least https://ca.linkedin.com/company/behaviour-interactive ) they have. I mean they only way you miss all those bugs is if you just write the code and put him on PTS. I know they balance the game with rank 20 in mind but how you expect players to buy a single killer with a power that can be counted by looking at him and perks that are a bad version of better ones? I hope like the fact that more and more killer will start leaving the game and you will have the same problem you have almost a year and a half ago.

I'm just going to point out, just out of observation.
McLean streams, but days before rank reset he's around rank 13.
The development crew and the players who know this game inside and out and rank pretty high because of their skill are completely different.

That the thing devs know only the math we as players know the game we can tell when one perk or a killer can be op, trash or just ok but they don't listen to the community.

First and foremost, there are nowhere near 500 people on the Dead by Daylight team. BHVR is a big company with all sorts of different teams and projects, DBD is only one of them.
Beyond that, there are many more devs playing the game than you might think. Most people here do not stream and do not have the BHVR tag in their name. A lot play on console in their spare time, even. We have people from a wide variety of different skill levels.
We go through many iterations before anything hits the PTB. What we played even a day before might be different from the version that first hits the test build. We try to give you the most up to date version possible when the PTB goes live, and naturally this means that some bugs and issues appear.
The PTB is not the final version. We still have time to make changes before it goes live. The entire point is to get your feedback.

The design team is currently looking over the feedback and figuring out what changes would be best in the time we have left. I don't have anything to share at the moment, but we'll let you know as soon as we can. It's only been a day since the PTB has gone live at this point.

A bit of feedback I hope you take into consideration @Peanits if you remove or lengthen the "spotting" mechanic this would be more enjoyable for a killer than having 4 surviors dictate your power. And I know we are suppose to play "stealthy" as him but thats hard todo when he is loud in his stealth form and also when the surviors get a 180° camera and third person and the killer can't even stalk past 2 feet of grass or in corn it makes his power hard to use if not impossible with some maps. Im not sure how you help GF without removing the "spotting" mechanic and making him quieter. You guys shouldn't be afraid to make strong killers in an asymetrical horror game give the surviors some fun tension with GF by making then constantly have to use their eyes and run if he sees them or use line of sight blockers to avoid a stalk.

For real though, its been ONE DAY! My god give them a break. No one even knows how to play CF yet! REMEMBER FREDDY? He was nurfed instantly and look for how long he's at the bottom. I hope the devs have learned not to have knee jerk reactions to the community's cries.

So what you're saying is, the developers shouldn't listen to the entire community's overwhelmingly unanimous complaints about Ghostface pretty much being powerless, and that they should just leave him as is? I could understand if it was just a small issue that only a handful of players complain about, but when pretty much the entire community has the same legitimate complaints on the FIRST day of the ptb...I don't think that is something to be ignored, pal.

On the one hand, it is fair to assume to give things more time to better understand how something might work.
On the other hand "spin the camera to nullify GF's power" is an egregious bug to allow through. That'd be like allowing through a bug thay lets a non-sick Survivor heal from one of Plague's fountains.

You need to explain those bug i mean you can easily find they by just try the new killer but yet you faile on that. I get it GF is not a strong killer and you make him weak so the rank 20 don't bomb reviews but do you even think about the fun the killer want to have. The killers main don't ask for 4k but for a viable killer.

All this rage when the PTB has barely been running a couple of days smh...
I would get half the outcries if we were, say a day before release and BHVR had released a post saying "Here he is all ready to be shipped out to live tomorrow!", because I actually agree that the new killer has a lot to be tweaked before then and is currently far from viable.
Having said that, again, it's literally early PTB so some people just need to chill and see what is taken on board over this period before you go looking for blood. And yeah, if the killer is released as he is now then by all means voice your opinions and then it's on BHVR for not listening to their player base.
Or do anyway, peeps going to find something to be giving out about one way or the other I guess..

All I can hope of the Dev team is they actually listen to this feed back and have the time to make some major changes before live release. I don't think we need to tell them that letting a killer's power be completely nullified by something so simple is extremely silly.
But 2 weeks I don't think is nearly enough time for as small of a dev team you guys have so I wish you guys the best of luck in fixing everything and will prematurely say sorry for all of the backlash you guys will be receiving for probably months after Ghost Face is released.

They do, the Legion change was a huge part of the feedback. I know I was a part of that feedback and thanked the Lord when he was changed.
On top of that. I proposed the Hatch change, I told them the killer should be able to close it and the doors will activate. My post is on these forums.
They listened and for some reason, my post was picked from a pile and it was made what it is today.

So how is the PTB even beneficial at this point? We can't give feedback on something ThEY KnOw Is BuGgEd AnD WiLl Be FiXeD bEfOre He GOeS LiVe. So again we are going to be stuck with a broken or sub-par killer that will need many iterations after it is live to be fixed.
The Devs can start throwing fixes at us on the PTB and let us test them and provide feedback. Yes it's only a day, but no one wants to see this time go to waste or feel like their input is being ignored.

To be fair, the Hatch close idea was tried a while back. I doubt it was your idea specifically that they had in mind when they implemented it how it currently is.

Legion change base on the survivors' feedback ( mostly) and EGC is just i timer that should be in the game from day one, the ability to close the hatch was a thing we ask from the first month this game come out. The hole EGC is more survivors side than a killer side and before you say this is not true the make so the survivors will not have stress from this and that's why the alloy the killer to open the doors. They listen 80 % the survivors ( money ) and 20 %, killers and before you say it make the game playable is not a nerf to the survivors.

Im not saying GF is awesome and they shouldn't touch a thing, what i'm saying is no one knows after one day! And they can make some small changes such as the hook seeing you, the time one hit last, seeing through small blocks (like corn) plus his biggest problem, how easy it is to break his ability, is rumored (maybe confirmed idk) to be a bug. So all im saying is give them a small break, because if everyone cries too much they may end up doing something too drastic before it goes live and then who knows how long before its fixed. Ask FREDDY!

A big part of that is community feedback. It was suggested a lot at first, and so we tried it. It basically made it impossible to escape (community feedback as well), so we made it power the gates (community feedback). This just made it a gate standoff rather than a hatch standoff (again, feedback from the community). We took all that and came up with the EGC.
Now whoever gets to the hatch first either wins or has a significantly increased chance to win. If the hatch is closed, the game will end in two minutes or less. There's no standoff.

I'm well aware it was tried a while back and they said it didn't work. Months before the Hatch idea was getting some recognition again I proposed said idea and I didn't see anyone else propose the same, exact idea.

Again you have the PTB so you can see what happen if you try this thing or another thing but you don't. You always say we need more feedback and we need more feedback and we have something in mind or we try something but never ever try this on the community.

The whole point of the PTB is to give constructive criticism and feedback. The point is not to cry and whine about the Dev team on DBD. Get your mind together before you post something like this.
And even if they don't follow up with the feedback and decide to release him like he is, they will catch up with all the feedback eventually, through NORMAL forum posts and other stuff, such as seeing / playing him to see how he really performs.
Stop attacking the devs all the time. Like seriously, if you don't like it, leave. Simple as that.
The same ######### happened with Spirit, she got on the PTB, Killer mains like you decided to insult the devs and cry about it, she got some fixes and guess what, she's a top tier Killer now.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean here. Using the EGC as an example, that went through two PTBs before hitting the live build, with multiple versions tested along the way. If you compare it to when we first tested the hatch closing, you'll see just how much it changed in that time. The entire purpose of a PTB is to get feedback and that's exactly what we're doing here.

By that logic killers like trapper and wrath will have get a good buff by now and killers like Freddy will be rework at the very least a year a go, and this only for the killers.

Also, keep in mind. This game came out for Steam only, then it merged to PS4 then Xbox because it grew an audience. This isn't a blockbuster Triple A title. These changes take time, funds etc.
I'm sure they have plans to rework certain killers and make them a bit more viable. It takes time man, I'm sure they'll get to it.

A lot of us understand he is going to be buffed but it's just scary seeing that this is the first test, an absolutely pathetic attempt at a killer, while survivors get an extremely overpowered perk (MoM), why did that not get a ptb?
And can we expect more of this in future? More broken survivor perks that don't have to go through a testing phase?

we all complained about the fatigue add-ons nerf, you didnt do anything to revert them back the way they were, we all complained about the vaulting speed, you didnt do anything, and most of us complained about the miss = fatigue, you didnt do anything on that either.
you do NOT listen, if you did, you would actually change something .

We already know that like we already know how they don't care about killer fun and how they don't care about killers feedback i mean all killers hate that the survivors can control 50 % of you power as plague and what they do they release a killer that his power can be control by the survivors 100 % and with bug that you only miss if you don't even try the killer.
