How many infinite loops are there ?
I was just wondered is there any infinite loops still in this game?
If so what are they and do u need any perks such as balanced landing to keep it an infinite loop.

there's no such thing as infinite loops any more call them god loops

i mean besides the myers hourse , wretched shop , ironworks of infinites , disturbed ward

I'd also consider the Grim pantry itself as an infinite for certain killers.

Is it really that important what those loops are called though? I've seen many people argue on posts like these that refer to infinte loops that infinites no longer exist. But I mean like it's pretty obvious what people are talking about.

Loops cannot be infinite anymore because of the entity blockers
though there are some pretty busted loops that are very survivor sided (looking at you, disturbed ward)

Any loop is an infinite if you're bad enough.

My favorites are the Shop and the Infinite of Misery.

There are some loops with a pallet in the farm or McMillan that it's impossible to catch the survivor if you don't break the pallet. Other than that, there are no real infinites, just very long and annoying loops.

Wretched Shop, Ironworks, Disturbed Ward, Grim Pantry, and Haddonfield all have really strong areas to loop/run the killer around.

Suffocation Pit too if the right windows are open.

There's a room with 2 stairs in the new map, if you had balanced landing it's like Myers' house.

Nope, there is no infinite. Only the god windows and god pallets exist... and bloodlust (:

Understandable. Just as you said, they shouldn't exist anymore. That's why I thought people could understand what's meant with infinites, since the ones that were called that back then aren't in this game anymore.

What did you say? god and infinite loops?
My spirit doesn't know these words. Can you elaborate xD

This is a false statement. There are some overlapping loops that are either double or triple loops, where entity blockers only block 1 path for basically 1-2 loops. With balanced landing, there are in fact infinite loops if the RNG of the progression system is in your favor. Hell, the new laboratory map even has one, and has been documented in several videos. BHVR is oblivious to these loops, as they don’t know how to run them themselves.

They aren't infinites, they are "God loops" like the ones from Wretched Shop, Ironworks of Misery, Groaning Storehouse ( with "God window" open ), Grim Pantry, Disturbed Ward, Haddonfield and Mother's Dwelling.
But against a 110% speed killer without a power to catch up ( aka Huntress ) these loops can be infinites indeed.

There are also some window loops where 110% movespeed Killers can lose chase while still following the Survivor; meaning the Survivor can use the window infinitely and, because no chase also means no bloodlust, the Killer will never catch them.
These loops can (they aren't guaranteed spawns) spawn on Rancid Abattoir, Wretched Shop, Suffocation Pit, and (IIRC) Groaning Storehouse. However they only really effect Huntress, since Hag and Spirit's powers can make any loop unsafe.

Loops aren't "infinite" per se, they're just completely unmitigatable unless you have a power to do so. Even if you do, oftentimes chasing those loops will just flat out lose you the game. I don't think "b-but it's not infinite!" really means much when you could theoretically catch a survivor after a couple minutes of precise looping to get a single hit while they move on to the next pallet. Your game is over by then.

Of course there still exist true infinites, but it depends on RNG you get. That means you can loop for so long that you return to the previous spot and the entity blockers are long gone. But killer of course should never chase survivor in this situation!

Myers house with balanced

Infinites were never infinite, they lasted until the game ended. If a long loop still exists that can last until the game is over then the net effect is the same. With the new scoring system, any loop that can be run to take a full generator of repair time is poor design. Much like forcing killers to let the survivors do well to do well themselves is poor design.

At high ranks it's pretty much a losing or black PIP situation most of the time with killers that aren't equipped to deal with it. I know when I break chase there's a pretty good chance I'll just return to the same spot with another survivor before long. Sometimes I'll get nice survivors that will challenge themselves and avoid the god loop but then I feel bad trying to capitalize on their down. That's why I just run Bamboozle on the killers that need it and shut that poop down the first chance I get. It saves you a couple trips around shacks and longer loops too, not to mention cutting down the RNG insanity of back to back to back windowed t-walls that happens sometimes.

not true. there are still infinite windows against huntress since she is so slow. especially groaning storehouse is pretty bad for her when the right window is opened. she cant even stay in chase to build up bloodlust.

There are very few true "infinites". Many god loops exist though. RNG can really screw you with adjacent L wall/T wall placement in the middle of MacMillan.
