Killers, do you dodge lobbies based on specific skins or items?
Yesterday I got dodged 3 times in a row (I asked why) and the killers answered it was because "I am a toxic Nea tryhard and they know it because of the skin I'm using"
As a killer, I NEVER dodge lobbies, it's just not for me, I do like a challenge...
EDIT: On XBOX, if you're in SWF or just see your team's names you can go to "recent players" to check who the killer was

I don't dodge at all. I like a challenge.

For me? I ######### YEET out of a lobby if I'm greeted with someone wearing Legacy or prestige 2-3 clothing. I am not skilled enough to face them, ESPECIALLY LEGACY 3's! Better dodge than to deal with a bad game.
One time I went with it.
Worst game in my life. I'm not facing against those people.
7 -
I dodge if there are more than two toolboxes.
8 -
i recently played a legacy 3 Nea, downed in 20 sec and suicided. Skins have nothing to do with skill
17 -
Nah, I'd just bring in Franklins
4 -
Nope.
4 -
Do you happen to use Neon Nea pants with the pink hair and mask? Beanie and the jacket?
Those two for Nea are usually a bad sign.
2 -
I don't ever dodge a lobby unless I know that one of them in particular is an awful person
2 -
I never dodge.
5 -
I had that happen to me a lot, I'm a p3 Nea main and when I get into a lobby with one or more other Neas the host closes the lobby. I personally never dodged a specific player or character despite the many times I got my ass kicked by survivors. :)
2 -
Only once. RNJesus gifted me with 4 claudette teams 3 times in a row. All wearing the dark brown skins. Didnt have whispers. Decided it wasn't worth it.
2 -
Ahm... Maybe... LOL?

I tend not to dodge unless i see some real bad pings. Although i can across a lobby where to people were called toxicnea & toxicmeg, i was not really in the mood to deal with that.
2 -
I used to as I didnt want to get involved in rounds that would be "un fun". These days if I see I'm going against un fun survivor group (all swf during weekend due the upcoming insta heal nerf) I just play Spirit with Prayer Beads, Amulet and Moris.
I really enjoy playing killer during weekdays during work hours as there tend to be less toxicity.
2 -
If someone quick switches and I'm not in the mood for bs, I might dodge.
What's funny is if I see maps, keys, flashlights, on everyone I won't dodge, but if you quick switch, now I think you're kind of scummy and I'm not going to reward that type of behavior.

In this game clothes do not make the man (or woman) when it comes to skill.
2 -
I normally do not dodge. But I dodged a lobby with 2 L3 (Face only) Survivors with +3k hrs which claimed to be survivor mains. No thank you. (I had about 1.4k back then and play both sides)
I expect Nea/Meg/Feng with masks to be toxic as hell, so I am careful with them or I take a Ivory Mori just in case. It's more fun to demolish these people.
1 -
Usually in my experience cosmetics means nothing. I dislike ruin and dont use it so seeing multiple toolboxes worries me though.
Do you stream or anything?

i had a full Legacy Meg and Nea in my group once both with flashlights. Broguth my Franklins downed both next to each other because they were trying to Flashlight save then they dc'd together =/
1 -
Quick switch is when they change their item exactly before the 5 seconds timer so that the killer can't change perks or addons?
0 -
Of course when I see a 100% swf with map, key and two insta heals. Why wouldn't I? The game is not balanced for this at Rank 1
4 -
I’ve never dodged a lobby except when I’m playing survivor and the killer has insane ping. Even when I see 4 flash lights, I just say a prayer to the entity. I know what you mean though, anytime I am pink haired Nea I seem to get dodged a lot, and if not dodged they try and tunnel. I don’t take it personally, it’s funny to me a skin has such a bad rep.

If all four survivors have items I usually dip, especially if most of them have toolboxes or keys.
1 -
The only time I dip out of a lobby, regardless of being a survivor or killer, is when the ping is really high or unstable. That's when people start "nursing" around the map and the hit-boxes get really dodgy due to latency.
1 -
There are certain players or SWF squads that I'm just not in the mood for sometimes. If I really want to play Ghostface, there's not much point in staying in a lobby against a 4 man that I know runs 2 OoO from experience.
2 -
I don't play the game seriously at all. I'll play any group of survivors with any add ons. If I'm able to keep up and somehow win, great. If not, that's fine too. As long as people are having fun.
2 -
If I’m not in the mood to play super sweaty I’ll dodge keys. Or if they swap last second to a key, camp/tunnel them until they die from it.
1 -
Just use a shroud of separation and watch them scat like flies.
Legacy = Severe Entitlement Syndrome

As a Killer, I don't dodge based on trollbaiting names or flashy cosmetics.
Killers who do that are chumps and are probably the ones who flood these forums with tears about getting "gEn RuShEd."
HOWEVER, as a Survivor main solo queue player... if I see ANY of the default cosmetics - including non-license DLC characters, I leave.
Survivors in the free/default cosmetics tend to be newer and/or casual players with a solo player mindset and selfish interests. They usually backfire gens, unsafe unhook, crouch in a corner of a map, or crabwalk around the map.

I do. twitch.tv/peanits_bhvr
I don't run Ruin either. I won't pretend I win every time- I don't- but ain't nothing wrong with trying. Usually there's something I can do better. If there was really nothing I could have done better, oh well, no sense getting worked up about it.
5 -
I used to dodge but now i rarely do, only if there are 2-3 toolboxes. Instead, i try to adjust my loadout according to the lobby.
The people i used to dodge were mostly Claudette's with purple pants and flashlights, big fan of that cosmetic but they tend to be toxic af from my experience. Against Blendette's i have just started bringing Mori's, usually i refuse to use those because of how broken they are but i make an exception against them.
1 -
Nope. I take what the entity gives me.
1 -
Yes, he does. :)
1 -
I dodge if I see more than one toolbox, a key or any toxic player that I have encountered in the past.
Sorry but there is a difference between accepting a challenge and enduring a miserable experience out of some false sense of nobility.
6 -
Correct. It's scummy, plus I had to wait a full minute to ready up for it. I don't dodge all the time, but if I'm not in the mood I will.
1 -
I don't
1 -
I main Nea and also learned, that there are killers, who seem to be afraid of certain skins...
I don't know why. It is a skin. The biggest noob on this planet could buy and use it. It has nothing to do with the skill level at all, some skins even give advantage to the killer, since they can see you better, but still...getting dodged or tunneled for the cosmetics I use is something I have to deal with often. Even if I don't have an item with me.
And I'm not even really good in running the killer around for long. I never tbag or "bully" killers. Still they seem to be scared of me...
1 -
Never . I like the challenge
1 -
I do that if I don't feel like going through queue again. But, it's just super boring to play out games where people take in 3/4 tool boxes because it's clear their goal is to do gens as fast as possible and have a low interaction game. Which is super boring for a killer. I would rather not play vs it.
3 -
I never dodge based on appearance. The rare times that I have were because I knew the people i was against would DC if I kill them and taunt me if they won, or if it was a squad I recognized as using three instaheals. There is nothing to get gud at against blatantly unfair items.
2 -
Thanks I look forward to watching u
1 -
I used to dodge very obvious swf with instaheals, but since it's getting nerfed, I won't anymore.
1 -
No. Players dodging lobbies because of a skin or offering or items is so astoundingly dumb. People tend to forget that this is just a game.
2 -
I used to. Eventually I realized that it doesn't really matter and I just need to focus up and prepare for a tough match. If I'm prepared for a hard one and it turns out easy, match goes by quicker than normal.

Only when several Toolboxes are brought in and I don't have Franklin's on that Killer and/or don't want to switch to a Killer that has Franklin's. Sometimes jus not in the mood for that. *slow shrug*
0 -
No. If I see some sweaty SWF with items I just adjust my build to it, if they ask for Ultra Rares they'll get'em :D
0 -
You dodge as survivor based on cosmetics? Lmao.
0 -
Its usually based on ping for me, or if i see that their names are something like “pls farm”
0 -
I don't dodge for any reason except some real life emergency.
