You guys need to read before condescending to someone. I said I was not being revealed when it happened.
-
Why are they changing it? It's just fine the way it is. Having to be near the killer sometimes to use it is all the interactivity it needs. Don't let tryhard killers who think you should never escape, and tryhard survivors who think you should be able to loop a killer for 15 minutes, determine balance in this game. Normal…

The part where the killer and the other survivors leave you to bleed out if you're not in on it. I'm getting every single one of them banned from this game if that ever happens to me.
-
You can't even leave them to bleed out if they took No Mither. They will just keep getting up and doing the generator down there. Literally all you can do in that situation is let them have that generator so you don't have to care about them hiding in that basement anymore.

This is the most exciting news the Dead by Daylight community has ever received.

Deathslinger. When I play as Deathslinger (which I would rather not), survivors become auto-dodging bots and I can't hit any of them. They run circles around me, teabagging me the whole time, and I can't land a single shot on them. Then when I play against the Deathslinger, he's a crazed psychopath who lands every shot,…

They don't understand the game if they make a comment like that. Serious huntresses who practice sniping across the map with their hatchets will always run full aura reading builds so they know where to throw. And even if it's not a huntress, a full aura reading build is still a legitimate strategy and they just don't want…

They are terrible 90% of the time.

More information: I'm on PS5, but I play SWF with two Steam friends. Sometimes they leave the party before I do. I bought a new survivor, and this is affecting them differently. When I logout and log in again, it reverts to my previously selected survivor, and my new survivor shows the popup describing his perks when I…

Being able to cross the map in a couple of seconds and then score a 4k in a couple of minutes seems broken af to me.
-
Wait until you realize you're being matchmade with teammates who are only there to sabotage you and get you killed. It's happened often when I solo queue. I'll get set up with 3 teammates who are high level and obviously playing together. They then proceed to do nothing but screw around with the killer, then lead the…

After watching Magic: The Gathering become a bunch of infantilized manchildren doing crossovers with my little pony and balder's gate and kaijus and teenage mutant ninja turtles and sh** like that, no, I would rather not watch anymore serious games I play go down that childish route.
-
Literally the only exhaustion perk I ever use. It's the least situational, most useful exhaustion perk there is. I don't have to run up to the second floor of a building before using it. I don't have to walk around the map before using it. I don't have to find a window before using it. I don't have to think about it or…
-
If what you say is true, you need to make a thread to let the devs know that players can circumvent killswitches by just not closing their game. I can't believe that the server just crosses its fingers and assumes its clients are obeying an honor code.
-
I saw someone carrying a flashlight, and I immediately hard-tunneled them out of the match in hopes that they'll run out of flashlights, lol.
-
You're not a pro e-sports tournament competitor. If your team can't get out by the endgame collapse, then you guys probably weren't getting out anyway. Sure, I'll 99 it if they're about to hook someone, on the one in a million chance someone is actually running Blood Warden. But otherwise I'm opening it to let my teammates…

Why does Chucky have the same powers as The Pig but 5x better than her versions of them?
-
I run lightborn whenever I play Wesker, because he wears sunglasses and he's too cool to let a flashlight ruin his day.
-
My Pyramid Head build is Spies From The Shadows Surveillance Hex: Ruin Sloppy Butcher Two add-ons to maximize trails duration. Low hours played, so your mileage may vary. I find him pretty unwieldy because he has to inexorably walk everywhere. So I find that he needs Ruin as an early game crutch so he can focus on chasing,…
-
How come there is no server side validation of how fast you can run?
-
That's because you played with survivors who don't know what they're doing. It's a coin flip in this game. You either get baby survivors who are easy prey, or you get bully squads who can loop you for hours and then teabag you at the exit gate while running around in your face knowing that they will still get away.
-
This started happening to me after the Xenomorph DLC came out. It's fairly rare, but the symptoms are the same. When it happens, it happens multiple times in one day. I'm on PS5.
-
If he has to run around at a distance, then that gives your team a chance to save you at least. When they unhook you, try to force the killer to hit you first, since your endurance will protect you and save them from getting hit.
-
Since every Wendigo hunting game makes the players run around the forest getting totems and collectibles, a Wendigo in DBD should get a perk like Hex: Plaything that creates several totems around the map. ------------ Hex: Curse of the Forest When you hook a survivor, if there are 1 or more dull totems left on the map,…

Since every Wendigo hunting game makes players run around the map getting totems and collectables and such, a Wendigo in DBD should get a perk like Hex: Plaything that generates several totems on the map. Hex: Curse of the Forest Hex: Curse of the Forest starts with 5 tokens. Whenever you hook a survivor, if there are 1 or…

Oh. I have like 200 hours in the whole game, but I thoroughly enjoyed prestiging her once I figured her out. :P
-
In addition to the other comments, I think there's also an "anime pfp" "4chan loli waifu" phenomenon. Some men don't want to grow up and become serious, adult males. Instead, they want to remain infantilized and child-like, and refuse to grow up. When it comes to self-expression, they will choose silly and childish means…

(If she's one of your three favorite killers, does that count as a pig main?) For Pig mains, her strength is making the survivors spread themselves thin with too much to do, so they aren't doing gens so much anymore. Rather than just putting a trap on everyone as soon as you get them, it can sometimes be good to wait until…
-
Isn't that same exact tiger logo already in the game on a map offering?
-
"If it was an actual survivor, I wouldn't be bothered." I am bothered, because actual survivors play like psychic bots all the time. Knowing where you are at all times, repositioning themselves perfectly at all times, even when you're undetectable.
-
Play survivor with your friends. I would start killing myself on hook whenever I got pissed off and felt the game was bullshit. When I did that with my friends, they told me after the game "We could've won that if you didn't suicide at the start." That made me realize that someone I actually cared about was depending on me…
-
It's a coin flip really. Some days the survivors are OP and dunk on us all day with zero skill necessary. Other days we get to harvest free potatoes all day. I have found that the high prestige survivors are the potatoes. High P survivors always play terrible and get killed easily. Especially if you solo queue and you see…
-
I always run lightborn on Wesker, because he wears sunglasses, and he's too cool to let something as silly as a flashlight ruin his day.
-
Why do survivors feel entitled to lead killers on an infinite loop for an hour without ever getting caught while the rest of their team gets to do all the gens for free?
-
Apparently not, because I can't find what buffs I thought were buffs again, lol. I retract my statement.
-
What nerfs? The patch notes listed mostly buffs to an already oppressive killer.
-
I recently prestiged her because I wanted her perks. Wound up thoroughly enjoying her while doing so. (Same with Freddy, The Doctor, Pyramid Head...) I found that her strong suit is 3-gen camping at the end. You "wink-wink-nudge-nudge" make sure the last 3 gens are close together, then you constantly send crows to them and…
-
I bought this game a couple months ago solely because I heard they were putting the Xenomorph in it. I never cared about this game before, but when I heard that, I bought it instantly. Then I bought the Xenomorph DLC as soon as it came out. Then I never played the Xenomorph, not even in a practice mode. I dunno why, I just…

The loser saying GG first is being a good sport. The winner saying GG first is just rubbing it in. Luckily I'm on console and there is no game chat. I would be sending people death threats in this frustrating game.
-
It seems to me like you're getting matched against sweaty bully squads every game. There's not much anyone can do about their exploitative tactics, unless you're Otz and you have like 10,000 hours in this game. The ridiculous auto-dodges, the literally always knowing where you are, the literally always knowing where your…
-
Literally have spent days playing against him and I think I've escaped once. I almost escaped a second time, but on 1 gen left he picked me up and somehow forced both me and him to disconnect at the same time.
-
I lobby dodge for the opposite reason. When I'm solo queue and I see a P50, a P75, and a P100 on my team, I know with 100% certainty that they are going to dick around near the killer all game, not do any gens, then lead the killer to my position, then leave me on the hook forever. Then if I try to kill myself to get this…
-
The only people saying "xeno is strong in chase sort of but not a problem really, myess quite quite indeed *sniffs own farts*" are the sweaty 4-man flashlight squads who no killer can beat anyway. Meanwhile for the rest of us solo-queuing in the real world, Xeno easily 4K's literally every game and it's not even a contest.…
-
I've had several killers pick me up and then disconnect today. Usually aliens, but one michael myers did it too. They were either winning the game or losing the game, and they seemed to do it on purpose because they were either frustrated or being toxic. All the times only the killer disconnected, they had won the game.…
-
Just because it can be outplayed doesn't mean it's balanced. Streamers with 10,000 hours can outplay hackers, that doesn't mean hacks are allowed. Since Alien can see you in tunnels, see you when it emerges from tunnels, equip addon that sees your turrets, equip legion's "see if two people are on gen" perk because a…

I don't understand what you mean. Pistons break holocubes, so wouldn't it have to be 2 deep?
-
On Chrome, you can just right-click the link and select "Open link in incognito window". I don't know about other browsers.
-
I just got this. Wrecking tryhards as the hag (because I want her abilities), and then as soon as it looked like it was going south for them, boom, dedicated server not responding. I just got the game several days ago, been playing sunup to sundown, this is the first time it's happened to me. Though over the last couple of…

You should try testing if Warmongers with the fire immunity mod will survive the laser beam.

In PS5 I have had a couple of odd crashes to its desktop here and there. I have a replay where a player can crash my game by throwing a phoenix pod. It's 100% consistent, every time I replay the replay, it crashes when he throws that pod. (I reported it using the in-game thing already.)
