Re: 15 Second Basekit BT is here to stay, but why should it be allowed to benefit beyond tunneling?
Welcome back to prehistoric versions of DBD. Where camping was the easiest and 100% uncounterable strategy. Where borrow time was mandatory for every survivor and if anyone did not bring it, he was trolling. Where killers had to get 1 chase for 3K guaranteed should survivors not take the mandatory perk - by just staying in a single spot not really playing the game.
Basekit BT is a direct response of abuse. Similar to say nerf to the ground of boil over (compared to busted version we had where hooking was impossible in number of maps)
But sure. If those were the good times, then let's bring other busted things from those same times. Now DS has just 2 condition to activate - killer picking survivor up and survivor hitting skillcheck. If he hits it, killer gets stunned for 5s. No hook condition, no repeat condition. Fair right? Like no basekit BT times…
Re: A fond farewell Ladies and Gentlemen
You weren't just a longtime contributor, you also always put a lot of time and thought into your posts. Lots of regulars are tired and jaded, but your posts always showed how much you still cared and how much hope you still had in the game. The system has cost us a good one, we're sorry to see you go!
Re: I’m really happy that can win without camping, slugging, and tunneling.
What's the point of these threads. "I never" posts are made up bullshit
Re: A fond farewell Ladies and Gentlemen
It's been an honor reading your insightful feedback.
I think I'm speaking for a majority here, that it will be missed (at least by those that actually care about improving the game).
Now for the moderators that are undeniably partially responsible for this: How many great people have to leave until you learn? We are almost 10 years in and this is the state of the forums? You want to look into the escalation system... NOW? Sometimes too late is too late. You can forgive someone once, sometimes multiple times. But at some point enough is enough.
This is not how you should treat your most loyal and constructive supporters. You should be ashamed of yourself.
I'd say that you should learn from this, but from the experience I gathered over the years being here, nothing will change.
"I think we did a pretty good job so far."
