Re: The generator repair speed on the Asia server is too fast.
I think there are two separate issues here. First, that gen speeds have already been nerfed. They used to be faster, and things like BNP and several gen perks used to be significantly stronger than they are now. But tunneling was just as common then as it is now, and I believe the reason why leads to my second point, that everyone’s idea of a “fair” gen time is subjective. There will always be players who feel gens are too fast, even if they took ten minutes minimum each.
Gens and tunneling should not be treated the same because they’re driven by player choice. Killers who tunnel wouldn’t stop doing so if gens took four times longer, just like survivors wouldn’t stop doing gens even if there was one left and the killer had zero hooks.
To OP: As far as Asians servers go, I know it’s very competitive in comparison to many other servers. The survivor rate is much higher there, but the kill rates are still healthy as well. I’m not sure what they could do to change that without completely impacting the balance for several other servers across other countries. But I am sorry for those that don’t want such a highly competitive scene.
Re: Why I’m Hanging Up My Medkit: Reflections After 2,500 Hours
As I see it, the problem is half the give-up mentality and half that BHVR is doing nothing about it. Most of the efforts to help the survivor role this last year have been nuked, which is only making people feel worse. Even if every survivor in a bad match digs in, some matches just aren't turning around, and there's nothing to either make you feel otherwise or at least make you feel like your time wasn't wasted. It doesn't help that the survivor wincon is a personal escape and not a team win. Pretty sure we've all had those sessions where the team keeps winning but you're the only one dying. That gets aggravating and the game doesn't reward you in anyway. Even if you're the best player, all you get is a death on your record.

the fact i met @THE_Crazy_Hyena, @cogsturning, @GoodBoyKaru (for the 3rd time in the past 2 years), @GentlemanFridge, @Pulsar, @Shroompy, @For_The_People, and many more. :]
Re: Why I’m Hanging Up My Medkit: Reflections After 2,500 Hours
I also think there's a factor of expecting something negative to happen, and then reacting the moment there's a trigger.
I can count on my fingers how many times I've DCed but I totally get why people do it because of this exactly. Bad match after bad match and the frustration builds, and as soon as it seems like its gonna be another they give up. They should just not ready up but they keep chasing that good match, since no one wants to end on a bad note.
It made me smile that you found a group of people to play with, and that you're feeling better than before. That's what matters.

Re: Balancing around S+ Killers and SWF’s ruins it for M1’s and solo Q
Which is why resources should be based around the killer you are up against. Why should Ghoul, Blight, Hillbilly, Dracula, Singularity, etc spawn the same number of pallets as Ghost Face, Trapper, Legion, Pig, etc? Makes zero sense. You don't need a variant for every killer either. Just 2-3 tiers would be better than the one size fits all approach we have now. It would essentially be selective pallet density.
Re: When will we hear ANYTHING from the devs, mods etc regarding tunneling?
You've heard my take, brother, many times.
That's a bizarre question. If you're a tryhard you'll end up in upper MMR. I couldn't care less what happens up there in psycho town. If it's all comp 4mans with clock callouts and tunneling, slugging killers they can absolutely have one another. The conversation around the game shouldn't be about its tiniest percentile. People in parties should be able to win against people on their levels, same sa anyine else. I'm not going to win against a tunneling p100 Blight whether I'm in a party or not.
But as far as I'm concerned, a comp 4man should be the dominant force in this game if they're all that good, as killers are the dominant force at every other level. The 4mans aren't though, because plenty of killer-players have 80-90% KRs and can clearly deal with these teams.
Re: When will we hear ANYTHING from the devs, mods etc regarding tunneling?
what was that? tunneling is having a negative effect on your games? here's 1 singular blood point to make you feel better.
have you considered buying our 10th year anniversary sable and huntress DBD bundle?
Re: When will we hear ANYTHING from the devs, mods etc regarding tunneling?
Depends on the killer I'm playing, though i switch up perks often out of boredom. I mostly just play Freddy and Pig these days.
My current build for Freddy is Corrupt, Batteries Included, BBQ, and Zanshin (slept on for Freddy, though I find the auras can be overstimulating so I switch it up at times). I'm mostly chase focused. For Pig, currently Corrupt, THWACK, Brutal, and Plaything. I like to keep them busy.
Re: The generator repair speed on the Asia server is too fast.
Or maybe killer players on Asia servers are not as good…
Re: Name something good in DBD 2025
The Key item rework, the gamma slider, the customisable scratch marks colours, auto bloodweb spending, hook suicide prevention, survivor bloodpoint gain increase, and you could count the Freddy rework if you like that one, dealer's choice there.
Less gameplay related, but the original survivors this year were awesome. Vee and Orela are both really cool, both as characters and as representation, so there's that.
You could also count some perks, new and buffed, and killer releases if you like them, which is personal taste. Personally I think Springtrap's pretty cool but the last killer that really excited me was Houndmaster at the tail end of 2024, so they're not on my list.
I get what you're going for here, but it is important to give credit where it's due as well. We don't gain anything from pretending nothing good happened last year, and we gain a lot more from acknowledging what the specific disappointments were.
