It is the only perk which requieres a Skill Check to be used. Imagine a Killer must hit a Skill Check so that Pop goes off.

To be fair I am a fan of DS being usable on both hooks. It would only hurt hard tunneling Killers. Because if you don´t want to tunnel you but do you get a slap on the wrist and won´t do it again so if you don´t go for tunnel Double DS won´t affect you at all.

I was all hyped for the new Halloween game, even with the less than reputable people behind it, I am a sucker for new Mikey content.

But now I hope the game bombs and the license holders have to go crawling back to Bhvr.

Honestly true as much as we criticize dbd it lasting 10 years is a miracle tbh most live service games nowadays only last 1 year at most

as a mainly pc player, i played dbd a little bit on the ps5 recently and here's what i noticed

-60 fps lock meaning you get harder skillchecks than 90 or 120 fps on pc and less smooth gameplay

-there seems to be an input delay here but you might not be able to tell if you didnt play on pc before. it might be due to the aforementioned 60 fps lock

-killer is severely disadvantaged. it is much harder to turn around or flick, much harder to aim with any aiming killer, survivor 360's actually work. basically every killer is harder to play and some are simply nerfed on controller

-cannot go to low graphics and gain a gameplay advantage like in pc

-cannot use reshaders or any other software (optional)

-no in game text or ptb (not a big deal)

wow, it was a horrible experience, and i would not recommend it, just buy the game on pc if you were stuck

not unplayable but it's not a really good port
