Re: Why Making the Blight 4.4m/s is a Bad Idea
4.4 will do nothing. Everyone that complains about Blight today will complain tomorrow. Think about it, how often does a good Blight not hit you with his M2?
I remember when people wanted Billy to be 4.4, still do probably. Same energy.
Re: Why Making the Blight 4.4m/s is a Bad Idea
Someone with actual logical thinking that agrees 4.4m/s is a garbage idea thank you!!! The people crying for his nerfs really have no clue… Anyway here's my feedback.
Rush count and token recharge are alright i dont mind it overall.
Add on pass and basekit blighted crows are great, being shoehorned into effectively only one addon choice sucks. Id definitely trade the rush token for the improved basekit.
Im okay with the pallet stun change, seems fair and i'd rather encourage looping and stunning than boring pre-drop slop.
I disagree with the pallet break change though, it feels garbage on ghoul and it'll feel garbage on blight too. It gives an incentive to pre-drop for even more free value than it gets now too which i dont like. If this had to exist, and i dont think it should, it should be tied to a stun instead atleast. That way it feels like they actually earned the distance given and encourages proper and more exciting gameplay more.
Re: The *REAL* Vecna Guide (The First/Henry)
Youre just agreeing with me. Thing is, good players just dont miss much at all. And hes not that hard to aim.
Re: Why Making the Blight 4.4m/s is a Bad Idea
Map dependency is something we should strive to move away from rather than make it a bigger issue.
You also have the issue that 4.4 would make little to no difference on anything other than indoor maps. As mentioned before, most tiles he can still use his power to play around, and the little distance he now does lose due to 4.4 might is negligible because he can still easily catch up.
Re: Giving up seems to be so common now, why?
Sometimes it's not enjoying the killer survivior go against.
Sometimes it could be phobias (clown, puking, worms, etc)
Sometimes it's just facing the same killers all the time
Sometimes it can be going to the realms they don't enjoy at all
I wish we had a system to ban killers from our queues.
I mean we have 42 killers now and being able not to go against one or two killers wouldn't be a bad thing.
When I face multiple ghouls I just stop playing the game. I believe I am not the only one.
Re: Lethal pursuer but for stealth
Yeah, that'd work too, though I don't know how many binary Undetectable sources there are so the flat extension would probably be the same, functionally speaking?
Either way, simpler is better, so making it a flat number instead of token based would be better I think.
Re: Why Making the Blight 4.4m/s is a Bad Idea
Honestly I'm not sure I agree that's a particularly huge downside.
Map-based variation is something that's baked into most killer kits, and while there are certainly extreme ends that become unfun, to a degree it's an intentional weakness some killers have to offset their powerful strengths. I don't think it'd actually be damaging to Blight if five maps out of the game's total forty five are ones where he's slightly disadvantaged comparatively.
Killers like Hillbilly have worse map spreads than Blight would have at 4.4m/s and that doesn't immediately make them weak or unfun to play, they do just fine.
Re: Why Making the Blight 4.4m/s is a Bad Idea
I will tell you why Hag is 4,4.
It's due to how mobile she can be and because the devs want her to use her traps cleverly instead of dropping them in chase, for example.
Not saying it is the 100% correct option, though I would prefer general buffs to her over a speed increase.
Re: Where is the variety?
I had incredible variety of killers yesterday, only 1 repeat killer. It went like this-
Legion (Escaped)
The First (Escaped)
Legion (Escaped/K DCd)
Krause (Died)
Springtrap (Escaped)
Spirit (Died)
Oni (Died)
Clown (Died on purpose)
Blight (Escaped/K DCd)
Pig (Died)
Nurse (Escaped)
Doctor (Escaped)
It was refreshing to have such a variety
