Re: If this game isn't competitive
dbd is pvp, naturally going to be competitive overtime, problem is that the more competitive a game become the more people will cheat, and more cheaters will inflate the game. look at csgo for example, nearly every lobby have cheaters, dbd will be the same eventually.

Re: Killer Meta
- Comically safe maps.
- Quick gens.
- Most killer kits can't push enough threat to make a difference.
What did you really expect?
Re: Can you guys increase BP multiplier in 2v8?
There shouldn't be any cap, it should fluctuate without limit to accommodate proper q times for killers and survivors. I could understand a limit for premium currency, but there is no "economy" to regular for bloodpoints. People are waiting 30 minutes to play a game because behavior doesn't want players to earn too many bloodpoints.
I personally don't think I'd happily queue for the mode as survivor until I see a 20x bonus, and I'm not waiting 30 minutes in queue to play killer - But by the time it hits 10x I'm sure the queue times would be much more enticing
How to make Solo-Q and SWF closer to balance the game overall
The last week i really enjoyed the new feature of being able to see my teammates perks and i just thought for myself if there could be any other easy adjustments to make the flow/gain of informations between solo-q and swf closer together.
So i was thinking about the following: Let's imagine the situation of the killer chasing a survivor and he is hitting a basic attack: The Survivor notices the killer using Sloppy Butcher (because it gets shown in the HUD). in a SWF the Player would tell their mates him using Sloppy Butcher, but in Solo-Q it isn't possible. But what if this perk gets shown in the Perk overview after this HUD Event triggered on any Survivor? Their could be a notification (like the quest progress notification) "Killer Perk detected" or "Sloppy Butcher detected" and the Survivors could look at it.
Just for clarification, i do play Killer and Survivor round about 50/50 and i am pretty sure it would be a strong buff for Solo-Q Survivor, making it harder for most killers to take advantage of the solo-q aspect, BUT i am pretty sure as well we need to make solo-q and swf as close as possible to balance it in a good and fun way.
Would be curious to hear your thoughts about it.
Have a great week gamers!!!
Killers that belong in 2v8
So as you know Devs are being over cautious about adding new killers to 2v8 but I think there are totally safe Killers they could add that won't be problematic or annoying enough they would have to remove them.
Safe Bet Killers:
Unknown
Demogorgon
Dredge
Pinhead
Artist
The Lich
Houndmaster
Freddy
Springtrap
I think these Killers have a place in 2v8 as long as Devs can figure out killer items spawning and get the license permission they won't be a problem in 2v8 if they got added.
Devs give them a chance even if you can't get license permission there's original killers you can add still.
Re: The thing I dislike the most in this forum
For me it depends on where I post. On the general forum my posts are usually well received and it has been that way historically. The feedback forum on the other hand is very clearly full of alt accounts that mass upvote each other and mass downvote anything they dislike. There is always a suspiciously high number of new accounts with only a few posts every time I go to that section.
Re: Please revert or tone down the recent Blight buff
I just think there should be meaningful nerfs and not just "oh make a killer feel bad to play" as a lot of the blight nerfs usually suggest. 2 tokens lost of pallet break. Great start but this is not it. Literally a majority of the blight nerfs I see are fueled by anger and stress for the "I just don't want to see this character again in my life" than actually create a healthier solution.
Re: The thing I dislike the most in this forum
Since I know that BHVR looks for statistics and the game is a 4v1
You have to remember that there's a self-selection bias on the forums, so the population here won't necessarily be 4-to-1 either.
Add to that that most players don't fit neatly in either role.
Re: Deathslinger buff
I’d say buff his reload base kit so it’d encourage more add variety, like cigar, iri, or the terror radius add ons.
But I know in my heart everyone will still run double reload or cooldown on miss/reload.
Deathslinger buff
Yeah "least biased discussion", but Its been almost 2 years since last slinger change, now every new killer comes with some form of map traversal, all major gen regression perks got nerfed, anti anti anti systems implemented, anti tunnel is stronger than its ever been (shoulder, free ds, 15 second endurance, extra hook timer) while slinger still remain a 4.4 blob without map mobility and even without brief zoning potential outside of 18m range to keep in check prerunners like huntress do, all those factors push deathslinger into territorial gameplay which got gutted in current state of dbd so he feels pretty outdated now.
I would suggest 4.6 speed, thanks to all downsides and state of the game he have no reason to be 4.4 anymore but looking at trickster situation its unlikely change so maybe some second ability that boost slinger speed to 5.0-6.0, decreasing terror radius to 24m (maybe even 20 m) and unequips redeemer behind deathslinger back for 15 secons, equipping redeemer would cause a brief but heavy slowdown so its wont be used to gain direct advantage in chases, cooldown similar to highest cd of doctor static-45s or getting obtained only after each hook (lore accurate considering that slinger is bounty hunter) or with some other features, modifiers and weaknesses but with same core idea, or just return old ads.
