Enough of these "linked outfits" please.

I understood the purpose of this for Cheryl's Lisa outfit- it changes the model entirely and can't be properly meshed with other outfit choices. I can (possibly) understand this with her Alessa outfit as well, although it really only makes sense for lore purposes.

The other two Cheryl outfits SHOULD NOT be linked. There is no reason you shouldn't be able to use them interchangeably. And now seeing this new Nea linked outfit has me really worried. Many people don't like this approach. Since launch we've been able to customize our character as we please, now it looks like this may be the approaching new norm for outfits.

Please stop here. Unless it changes the model entirely, it should not be linked.

    agreed.

the only outfits that i can understand being linked would be Cheryls "Lisa" outfit and the Legions bunny outfits.

every other one is unnecessary and imo only restricts my ability to mix up outfits with one another.

okay, they might have an excuse for licensed content. maybe the license holder wouldnt allow it otherwise, who knows?

however that new Nea outfit... no.

i am not going to purchase any upcomming linked skins, unless they actually change the character we play (= legendary skins) or have a huge discount on them.

Yeah, I think the reasoning behind doing this is forcing players into spending more $$ to buy the entire outfit instead of individual pieces they want. Scummy marketing strategy and a slap in the face to players (like me) who actually have supported the company by purchasing individual cosmetics prior to this change.

i think the official reason is that it "prevents clipping issues".

honestly, i would prefer clippinng issues over this any time.

trading your ability to mix up cosmetic items for having less clipping issues is almost as stupid as trading your ability to insta down survivors with the chainsaw for being able to run through pallets without stopping.

its a good idea / intention, but its simply not worth the price we have to pay to get it.
