Not being "ready" is exactly the reason it's needed.
Those twitter twats threatening those who wear the charm to be tunnelled are trying to shut LGTB+ up through scares and it's sad (plus it's not going to work).
It's a charm, it's a representation and/or a symbol of support and it's love.

Charm is probably the smallest form of representation this game offers. Killers have plenty of petty reasons to tunnel someone out of a game - this charm won't actually increase the amount, it will just add another petty reason to the list. If they say something homophobic in game chat report them. If they say something homophobic in your messages report them to your platform. Not including something because a killer may tunnel is a terrible reason, and with that mentality we'd basically have to remove survivors.

They probably won't ban people for simply tunnelling people, i doubt they even have data on what charms survivors are wearing
Now if the people tunnelling also spout a bunch of stuff in the endgame chat, they will probably get banned for that instead.

Just remind yourself that the chat lobotomy party you saw is just a very vocal minority, compared to all those who will play the game because it's a game.
Most people are decent, so you have exceedingly little to worry about in regards. Anybody dumb enough to pick on you and then say it was because of the Pride tag just requires a simple report with evidence of that to boot them.
Don't let the zombies get you down. And by that, I apologise to the RE zombies - they're much more worth it than those other types.

Meh. I'm of that community and may or may not wear it. I think it's a good addition though, but I'm not that into the charms and barely notice them in matches. I think of recent I've only wore a David charm on Dwight. Guess I could throw the rainbow on my Trickster hooks... since some people are already so tilted by the twink beating them that the added rainbow might make them melt into goop.
And let's be real, there's already plenty of killers who tunnel and camp you for some dumb reason. Some hater doing it for a charm isn't going to feel that different from "cause someone used map offering", "cause you played X character", "you were hard to find", or any other bull reason they give you.

Yeah i was joking, i know that there are several degrees of allergy. Mine hits pretty hard in spring, but i just use antihistaminic spray and eyedrops in the morning and I'm good for the rest of the day 😄

what ez banned for what ?? for tunneling ? when they do it (i never tunnel a person for what reasen) but if people get banned because they tunnel or bodyblock a person for what reasen...
then I would stop with dbd the missing still get xD ban because you have a certain way of playing and I would also encourage others to listen with dbd I mean if players are banned because of a way of playing THEN I DO NOT WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME! I would not be banned because I would never do something like that, but I show solidarity with people who tunnel or do anything else (of course not the libelings or any malicious acts)

People get upset at the mere thought of lgbt+ characters even done subtly so ######### it, go big or go home. You can't please homophobes while including LGBT+ people so if you're going to say goodbye to one of them, do it in style.

No, see that's actually the wrong way to look at it
That implies that people who have certain characteristics shouldn't be included because xyz, it implies a level of taboo
The better way to approach it, (IMO) is to just have it and don't act any differently.
Although there's a certain side of the DBD community that the devs have been encouraging recently that I really find distasteful, but it has nothing to do with people's characteristics such as their orientation and so on.

they stated that not the inclusion is bad but that the reception of some parts of the community is bad and will follow with the inclusion (which is kinda right but no reason for exclusion). Let’s not twist their words.

I don't think anyone can see survivor charms other than the survivor themselves. At least I can never see my friends charms, only mine and the killers.

You can, but only in situations like this. For another example, say that someone got evidence against a killer that only tunneled black survivors. That killer would be banned. This is more or less the same thing.
