Survivors Are Leaving The Game

then swf would have to get nerfed to compensate

It can't possibly be the fact that there are bugs just plaguing the game or the cosmetics are clear money grabs or the fact that the events have been super watered down. Nooo...

Okay, you just mentioned perks that literally have nothing to do with NOED. Whataboutism is a lazy argument. The changes the main issues of something. While yes there are perks on the survivor side that do reward bad play. And should absolutely be changed mostly Dead Hard. That doesn't mean something still unhealthy on the other side shouldn't be changed.

I pointed out Survivor perks that 'reward bad play', which was your excuse for wanting to remove or change NoED. I was addressing your reasoning for removing NoED. Sorry, that's not 'whataboutism' in the slightest.
NoED is fine. It's not 'unhealthy'. I've noticed lazy Survivors always hide behind that same excuse; the 'health of the game' as reason why Killers should be punished for camping, or tunneling, or slugging. Or why Killer perks should be removed.
But when you look at the theme behind those 'health of the game' arguments, you see the same thread; Survivors who want to bang out gens in sub-5 minutes with no punishment. They want to extend chases, avoid dying, and genrush. They just want to win, and will use 'health of the game' as their smoke screen to nerf Killers into the dirt.

"90% of Survivor meta perks reward bad play; Adrenalin, Dead Hard, D. Strike; these reward a Survivor for being found and hit or downed. Yet it's not okay for Killers to have ONE perk that activates in the end game? A perk Survivors can turn off" Dude you literally say that because survivors have this killers should have this. It's literally what about these perks that survivors have. That is whataboutism. And that point out had nothing to do with NOED. And there isn't always time when you have the time to do bones. What if your team is under constant pressure like hooks or gens being regressed and you simply have not time to focus on bones. This can punish survivors for working hard and NOED can take that work away. NOED simply needs to be changed to the point where it doesn't seal the fate in these games and not worthless in other times.

So you're saying it's unfair if the Killer pressure Survivors to the point that they can't do totems, so they can't clear NoED?
By that logic; EVERY Hex perk is unfair, because the Killer can pressure Survivors to the point that they can't cleanse it. In fact, Killers HAVE to pressure Survivors to keep totems alive. But clearly Killers doing JUST THAT is 'unhealthy'. 🤦♂️
It's called 'Rewarding The Killer'. But I understand that that's not allowed by Survivor mains. Killers should never tunnel, never camp, never slug, and never, EVER stop Survivors from doing bones. Any time they stop Survivors from doing bones, either the Killer is 'toxic' or the hex used is 'unfair', 'op', or 'unhealthy'.
Your argument is basically 'If the Killer prevents me from cleansing NoED, then NoED is unhealthy'. You're basically saying it's unfair that the Killer, in that situation, outplayed the Survivors & they got punished for losing.
How dare they lose because the Killer was playing well! That's not how DBD works (in the Survivor main mind)! Killers should LOSE when they outplay Survivors! Survivors should always win, even if they don't wanna do bones, or can't do bones! Anything else is 'unhealthy'! It's unhealthy for Survivors to lose! 😂

That is true, and killers won't admit how easy killer is. Survivors nerfed non-stop. Killer perks are way stronger than survivor perks. Look how situational survivor perks are compared to BBQ, Ruin, Tinkerer, to name a few. So many deadzones in maps.
Yes, it is too easy to counter survivor perks while killer perks require practically losing the game to counter.

It’s true. Nobody wants to play a sheep for the enjoyment of one player to insta kill. The killer players have become so entitled and just toxic that they can’t or won’t even acknowledge the truth.
Very few new survivor players last past the first week. It’s just not a fun experience. Even at rank 4 I’m told I just need to get better or it’s my fault if I lose (never fails). The biggest issue bhvr has is their forums and feedback all comes from killer mains who bully survivors out of stating opinions. Look at this forum alone and tell me I’m wrong.

I mean not just the recent killers, take Wraith for example, if anyone does not think that the wraith rework was total BS...Pretty much a free hit 90% of the time, let alone that uncloak boost that was unnecessary tbh! The game is more frustrating than anything RN.

& you’re surprised by that?? Also water is wet

Oaky so then tell me this imagine. I'm a Nurse. You're with your average Solo Q teammates. I'm able to keep delivering enough pressure but the survivors were able to genuinely do great plays were outplayed me. But, enough pressure can be kept up and simply no time can be spent on bones unless you want to loose. Because you didn't finish a gen or unhook a teammate instead. So the gates are powered all your hard work and effort can be payed off. Then a NOED happened because you couldn't focus on bones. And creates a loose-loose scenarios. And gambled whether there was NOED. Despite the survivors performing great plays. In that scenario is NOED fair? And I'm not a survivor main. And with the other hexes you know that they're in play. And can plan accordingly.
1 -
Play some survivor and you'd know they aren't that long anymore. But pop off sis.
1 -
I will say killer queue times have become significantly longer
2 -
I thought this was a joke post at first. Shame on me for having faith in other people. I'm sorry you're having trouble learning the game, bud.
2 -
Wait, wait, wait...
Borrowed Time was nerfed? I thought being immune to Wraiths and Insidious Bubbas was a buff!
4 -
I'd think the Nurse outplayed me, and she took a risk that she could keep NoED protected, and it paid off. They gambled they could keep NoED alive until the end game, and they succeeded.
Heaven forbid a Killer use a High Risk/High Reward perk like NoED and Gasp Be rewarded!
That's simply not allowed, according to Survivor mains! Apparently Killers should never be rewarded for playing well! It's 'unhealthy' for Killers to play well! 🤦♂️

Fine whatever you think

you mean because everyone including survivors are playing nemesis? K

Have not played much since rank reset due to the condition xbox (consoles) are in so currently just rank 3. I have friend rank 6 and one 18 both with same experience. Up to my last post there was quite a bit commenting that they having same experience. That's great you games are instant for killer but since RE gm has been different for me. Faster survivor ques then killer. Fastesti get into a gm as killer is 5 min.
0 -
Again, that's just the region, I live in the midwest and after patch 5.0 it switched and killer queues take 10 min while survivor takes <1.

Do you think dead hard is high risk/high reward as well?
0 -
Dead Hard has nothing to do with NoED, but yeah, in a vague way.
The risk is that you need to be injured, and you need good timing (which is difficult, due to lag, admittedly).
The reward is that you dodge an attack & get to a new loop/window. This wastes the Killer's limited time & buys your team time to pop gens. Teamwork.

Good

I asked about dead hard since they're both seen as annoying crutch perks for both sides, I was just curious of your view on it. Thanks for responding.

I completely agree with you wraith is not fine rn

Not only spirit and NOED. Blight, Wraith, Hag and Nurse need changes too.
0 -
not survivors, players in general. This last update was putrid.
4 -
Okay rank 12 survivor main. We dont need you here that's for sure

Lol, the amount of troll is over 9000 :D
1 -
Honestly I would've never thought you'd mention Leatherface here. Always thought Bubba was the most hated killer in the game due to him being a notorious camper most of the time.
I actually dislike them too. I find setup and map pressure killers way more fun to play like Hag or Wraith. I wish there were more Killers like that.
0 -
Not my problem, i can play the game while they pay the price for their filthy bully squads and gen rushes 😎
0 -
Good, let the door hit them on the way out.
1 -
5 pages within 2 days for a troll post? Really?

There is nothing as juicy as the iconic "us versus them" of Dead by Daylight.

The BT rework is not a buff, the only instance in which guaranteed BT proc benefits now is against stealth killers, which is highly situational because stealth killers still have terror radius in chase, otherwise the reduced active time is a pretty huge nerf considering the counter to BT is just to wait it out, now that's easier to do.
0 -
Its 3 seconds shorter in exchange for it to work in every situation. Its the biggest buff for a perk that was already meta af I have ever seen.
Every stealth killer, insidious campers, freddy dream world and huntress snipes across the map were affected by it.
Running BT now guarantee safe unhook 100% of the time.
Its a buff no matter how you look at it.
0 -
BT was buffed (once again). Not nerfed. But i guess the devs will buff it once more, because survivors see it as a nerf, when they don´t get 30 seconds of immunity.
0 -
BT gives you endurance which still has a cost if you're hit, if you think getting 15 seconds of BT when unhooked while the killer is now on the opposite side of the map is better because of the nerf, you clearly dont know BT strats.
0 -
So how many seconds do you want to protect a survivor from getting "camped" by a killer who stands at the opposite side of the map? 60? 120? 360?
0 -
Now you're just a salty killer main, its not about what I want, its about the mechanics of the perk and what its designed to do, and if the latest rework made its design stronger or weaker, and BT currently is in a weaker state because just like you're crying about, a stronger BT has a longer active time. Reducing BT's active time is clearly a nerf.
0 -
BT now protects against stealth or insidious killers. Previously BT wouldn´t trigger if the unhooked survivor wasn´t inside the killers terror radius.
Thats a buff in my book.
Oh and i´m not the one crying about BT.
7 -
Is this an actual thing people are going through? I never wait more than 5 minutes for a match as a survivor, and when I do it’s usually late as hell. Best time for me is during the day. As soon as I ready up, I’m in a lobby.
0 -
Survivor queues are so long because Killers have to deal with SWF bully squads and verbal abuse. And whenever a perk/addon is 'slightly too strong' for Killers, it's nerfed a day later.
But Survivors get to keep their perks/addons for 2+ years before nerfs. Just look at keys & moris; Survivors dislike moris, they are nerfed ASAP. But keys? 'We are working on it...someday. Oh, have a Franklin's nerf so you don't lose your insta-win keys anymore. It was a nerf with keys IN it, so it counts, right?'.
So less Killers are playing, since their tactics and items get nerfed, they get bullied, and we get screamed at in end game chat for 'camping' and 'tunneling'. (Because remember, kids; Killers are not allowed to try winning! Trying to win as a Killer is 'toxic' and 'unhealthy'!) And this means Survivors can't find matches.

needs to be an hour long penalty for DC.. lots of jerks playing lately who DC on second down, some on first down.
