Project W Is Pathetic
It's out. It's finally out. And it's just sad to see. It's a waste of a license just like the first time. I hope it flops but obviously it won't because gaming's BIGGEST horror game franchise's name on it. People shouldn't spend money on it though. It tell them we want more of this just... Badness.
I saw the skins. They look bad. Wesker's looks weird, Leon's looks terrible, Ada's looks good, Rebecca's looks fine, and Jill's looks fine. Carlos and Sheva look fine. So does Hunk. But then we get trash like Feng and Felix? Why would you make those? It's insulting because first off, absolutely no one is buying Feng's because you made the genius move of also releasing it on Jill at the same time, and second, Felix's is insulting because why is that just not on Chris himself? You spent precious time making crap instead of something that makes sense. I don't think anyone is buying those. The look bad. Especially Felix's.
Hunk shouldn't have been a killer skin. This is just stupid. Sure he's not a "good" person. Sure he works for Umbrella. Ada also worked with Wesker though and obviously she shouldn't be a killer. Hunk doesn't fit the killer DBD role. He's not the same as a Wesker or a Nemesis. He should've been a survivor skin. It's just dumb. Looks cool, but makes no sense to me.
Obviously, finally, Wesker's power eats toe nails.

The skins are great. I already bought STARS Jill and Hunk. I'm really tempted to drop another $15 for the Wesker skin too.

You say the skins are bad but then say most of them are actually good.
Lots are buying the Feng version because she is infinitely more popular and far far more Feng's exist than Jill's. Feng is one of the most played survivors. And people are not going to swap from their P50 Feng to Jill.
Hunk is a merc guy that is going to do whatever Umbrella wants. He has little character outside of that. They tell him to kill innocents, he'll do it. Don't expect merc characters to be survivors. Has Hunk EVER been a protagonist or good guy? Because I'm pretty sure his only appearances has him working for the villains as a grunt, where as Ada swaps sides. As per his own wiki description Hunk is "Cold, silent, and devoid of emotion, he is ruthless." He would not make sense as a survivor.
Yes, Weskers ability isn't great now.

Nope, it's better than their first attempt by a fair mile, as in not bugged to buggery.
I'm a little cheesed I spent some of my game time making tickets for 2 games where I made it to the last 2 survivors, only for Wesker and the other survivor (Feng Min in a Jill Valentine cosplay, and a Jill Valentine) to team up against me, but I'm hoping these are just isolated and down to pure bad rng luck, rather than some obsessive fans of RE sticking together.

If you want 100% authenticity with absolutely no changes, then idk... go play the RE games?
The skins all look fine. Feng and Felix are a goofy little idea to bring DBD a little more into the RE universe. Don't buy them if they offend your sensibilities so deeply.
Hunk is neither good nor evil, so your point there is moot.
Not all killers have to be Nurse/Blight level. Plenty of people seem to be finding Wesker fun to play which, gasp!, is very important in a video game.

Only thing Im disapointed is reassurance being nerfed to ground. I agree it was bit too strong before but now it's useless. I know campers complained lot about it but camping is unfun playstyle for survivors. You could make the reassurance timer be 60s and the activation range bigger that could make it already usable. I think it would be fair to deactivate in endgame.

I've made many, many posts that go into detail on the first chapter alone. I've been doing that ever since it released. My core and most important issues from the first chapter apply to Project W.
The killers are just not accurate to the characters. Nemesis isn't Nemesis and Wesker isn't Wesker. Nemesis is actually Antagonist and Wesker is Alberto Whiskey. Visually (for the most part) they are good. One of the most important aspects though, the power, don't represent the characters well. It's been said many times by your own team that you wouldn't want to morph characters into something unrecognizable and that's exactly what happened 2 times in a row. Resident Evil is A franchise I care quite a lot about and DBD is A game I like a lot. The 2 attempts at RE were just failures in bringing the killers into DBD.
Nemesis is best described as a zombie general (obviously I know he doesn't necessarily control the zombies) instead of the intelligent, fast, and powerful iconic boss enemy. One of gaming's most iconic bosses. He was missing 2 of his iconic abilities. The rocket launcher and the sprint. And if the team wants to use the excuse of they didn't want to make something too similar to other killers or they think a rocket launcher wouldn't fit, the simple answer is, just do not use that character. It doesn't make people happy when their favorite characters are squeezed for money. We see this all the time in movies and stuff. Even with RE recently with that abysmal show. They take something people love and use it as a vehicle to just make whatever they want and it doesn't resemble that franchise or in this case, character.
Wesker is a step in the right direction, sure, but how many RE chapters or years would we have to go through to get it right? Another 2 chapters? Like EA's Madden or something? Not a nice comparison I'm sure but that's how it feels for RE fans. Wesker has little dashes when he should've also had a sprint. But he has problems in more areas than even Nemesis did such as his animations and... He has a knife? Just get rid of that knife and give him his palm strike or something cooler like that.
These aren't the characters that are advertised. Literally every other killer is accurate or WAS (Freddy Krueger). Somehow you guys get harder characters like Sadako and Pinhead right but not 2 very simple and easy ones. That's my problem with RE in DBD.

I couldn't care less about the skins, the only one that i'd be remotely interested in is the Hunk skin (Just not for the price they're asking)
As for Wesker, i absolutely love him, he's fun to play and the animations along with voice lines are fantastic. The perks on the other hand are nothing amazing sadly.

Stop pretending like I'm asking for 100% authenticity because that's clearly never been what I've asked for. Simply asking for Nemesis to have a rocket launcher and sprint and for Wesker to have a sprint and ditch the knife isn't 100% accuracy.

Have some constructive feedback. Wesker's power feels really hard to use on loops because you still catch your toe on objects you can't see and jagged edges on loops make him have to adjust so wide that it becomes impossible to use it. Examples are some of the crate loops on swamp and the RPD reception desk. There's also a lot of painful glitches running around like slamming into chests and pallets canceling your grab and letting the survivor run off. Slamming into certain walls and objects also causes this. Sometimes a weird angle produces the effect and other time like the outside walls on RPD I slammed a survivor perpendicular to the wall and they just ran off while I ate the recovery.
Also the the newly added feature where he can damage survivors on the other side of windows/pallet vaults is extremely short range which doesn't feel great since it'll only hit a survivor if they're hugging the vault. It also doesn't work at all if the survivor is standing still no matter how close they are to the vault.

About wesker it feels fair and such but i think his power should definetely recharge faster.
Skins: Skins are okay i mean there were not the ones I expected but definetely good.I would say the ones I dont really like much is Ada skin also his face seems a bit odd for me in base model.
The felix skin shpuld say B.S.A.A uniform not S.T.A.R.S one.
I would really like new skins from RE 6 I think leon have cool skin on that game and rebecca chambers could get skin of Sherry Birkin on RE6 also Ada have pretty cool one skin on that game. A skin of wesker when it absorb uroboros and become shirtless would be dope ( Dont really need to be exactly the same as the videogame but more likely his arm is filled with uroboros)
I like Hunk skin its pretty cool.I would like somekind of voice changing more according to Hunk tho.
A skin for nemesis as Mr X or a Tyrant model from RE 1 its necessary in this game. I personally would like a RE 1 tyrant skin

The issue is, you're far too uncompromising for your feedback to be taken seriously when adaptations by nature require compromise.
