Why do people think an FOV slider for killers would be unfair?

It really doesn't change how killers receive information, at least not in a way that would affect stealth as a playstyle. You see a few more degrees on either side; this has the downside of making objects appear further away (and thus smaller), and as @Brimp righly brought up, higher FOV makers a player's eyes have to process more information. If anything, this makes it easier for a killer to miss someone hiding if they have high FOV.

I'm ngl that's been my response to this thread for the most part! There are some people opposing for weird reasons but for the most part people seem really supportive of an FOV slider, which is a lot better of a response than I got a few years back asking a similar question.
