Killers: Who do you chase?

When you come across the whole survivor group, who do you choose to the chase when theres multiple choices? what draws you? What makes you say "Thats my target"?

Personally… I'ma dood…. so when i come across them, my eyes can't help but get drawn to skimpy outfits, or bright colors… plus the bright colors, in my opinion, are like the survivor saying "please chase me" lol

Whatever their oufits, I'm starting to chase the closiest of me or the last to run away from me… Sometimes it wasn't the best thing but I can't know before to commit the chase.

I'll go after the one who attempts to crouch and not be seen or the one who runs away from useful tiles. Barring either of those, I'll go after who's closest.

Typically whoever is closest. Although if there’s someone who obviously wants me to chase them (think bright clothes and taunting username) I’ll happily take a survivor who is a little further away.

    Dwight. Always Dwight. (Jk kinda)

I usually go for whoever is at the furthest hook stage I can remember if they’re close enough. Otherwise, I follow whoever’s closest or is headed through a dead zone.

I usually use Lethal Persuer on Whiskas, so whomever I spot being near a gen is the first to get chased. I prefer to go for gen-jockeys.

However, if it is a Resident Evil lobby then no one is being chased in a serious manner lol. Wesker + RE players is just a big party. Unless it's Chris…. /jk

Usually the one trying to stealth or the one who is positioning out of safety.

If I keep running into the same survivor, I'll try to chase someone else. I'll chase someone who is more healthy if I have a choice. When a survivor gets unhooked, I'll chase the person who unhooked them, not the person who just got unhooked.

The exception to these rules is if a Tome Challenge encourages me to do something else, but I'll go back to this system as soon as possible.

I like to make sure that the scares go around.

Whoever is closest to me is my next target, if someone runs between me and my prey i'll smack em and chase them instead

I only tunnel S.T.A.R.S. members as Nemesis, like any true Nemesis player would do.

I mean…. dont get me wrong… i'm not gunna tunnel on purpose… i hook, then basically run to the furthest gen from me, but if i hear / see the unhook behind me, i'll flip around.. but by that time, i've lost sight of the hook… from there, It's usually the first person who crosses my path, and from there, I might break pursuit, cause people expect the constant tunnelvision chase, and they sometimes dont expect a target swap, then i try and corral them into each other… a strategy i've gotten pretty good at over the years.. but from there… it's literally 'oh piece of candy' type of mentality… if you happen to keep crossing my path, and getting caught… thats on you as the survivor…. be better, don't blame me for your mess ups, ya know? lol

I chase whoever I see. But I try to be fair about it and keep in mind who I have and haven't chased yet.

When I hook somebody, I leave the hook and don't return to "get people." If somebody has been obviously struggling all game, maybe a newbie, I don't think to myself, "Total weak link. I'm gonna get them outta the game quick!" A lot of the way that I play has to do with having played survivor quite a bit. I've certainly had my fair share of survivor games where a killer tunneled me right out of the game or guarded the hook, so I know how it feels. So I tend to avoid camping, tunneling, slugging etc. I would also rather injure someone and go back to guarding gens then chase a looping god tier level Nic Cage all around the map while gens get done. Focusing solely on one survivor, good or bad, is a common trap some killers fall into.

    I choose them after hookstates.

If all are equal I choose the nearesed with preferable bad ressources near them. (If someone else is near and easy to get the first hit, I will switch and down them instead for more preassure).

1-2 hooks will be prefered by me and I'm more likely to chase them on stronger ressources.

Deathhooks will be chased no matter the ressources near them.

I usually don't hardtunnel but I will take the tunnel out if they give me the chance ^^
