Give Blast mine a much needed nerf
The main issue arose when it was buffed to stun killers, as it made the viable counter, Lightborn, completely useless
Another main issue of the perk is that because it is based off of repair %, the killer is punished for doing their goal, as when they damage generators, it gives whatever user of the blast mine perk more repair progress to work with
The final issue is that the perk lasts on the generator for too long, 120 seconds is way more time than needed, and should be nerfed to at least 60 seconds

This perk is completely countered by ruin, pain resonance, surge, eruption and merciless storm. On certain maps totems are quite hard to cleanse, let alone find. If they make a nerf to this already niche perk that wastes 5 seconds, they should improve totem spawns to be easier to find, but still defendable for non mobility killers.

Most killers do not kick gens often. If you need to kick a gen, you need to waste time you could use to chase, to slow down survivors because you have little other option to prevent that gen from popping. In most games, Blast Mine is a perk that literally serves two purposes: Kick Killers while they are already down and annoy them
It is the Knock Out of Survivor perks, and like Knock Out, it should be changed.

And so you say that the killer must bring a perk and at the same time hope that this perk will work specifically for this generator, but outside of the perk there is no counter game? Don't you think this is too much?

It may be annoying if you play Nowhere to hide/eruption build, but there are builds where to is also completely useless…

I don't think it needs a direct nerf.
I am of the opinion that it's incredibly annoying, though, and maybe Lightborn should counter it entirely (including the stun) as an option for those who want to. I hate going against the perk with a passion even if it isn't necessarily good per se.
As a side note, have you tried kicking a Blast Mined gen with Lightborn? The flash is genuinely like the old Blind Screen effect back in the day, it's horrible.

Sure we can as long as flashbang stuns now(like it does in re games). But seriously no.

As if Lightborn needs a buff. Nah, Lightborn needs a downside as it completely removes a basekit mechanic from the game. Even Iron Will doesnt work if you're exhausted. And the main reason to buff Lightborn was because of Iron Will.
If you wanna buff Lightborn even further to specifically block Blastmine, then stuns in general need to be increased by 33%0 -
Flashlights aren't basekit. They're items.

Wait, what? Blast mine is super freaking annoying but calling for a direct nerf seems a bit much.
I think adding it to the list of things lightborn can deal with would be absolutely fine. Same with Chemical trap which I am of the opinion that it is easily the more obnoxious perk.-1 -
You can get them from chest, hence basekit.
And otherwise, why not buff Iron Will back to permanently working even when exhausted and fully countering Stridor?-1 -
Because Iron Will is incredibly good and Lightborn isn't.
It's good at what it does, but relies on certain items to be in play, unlike Iron Will, which is universally useful.

It's almost like you can see the items survivors are using in the lobby or something….

Oh yes, as all know, all killers can see the future and can predict with 99% accuracy what will happen; this survivor in this match will not change the first aid kit to a flashlight at the last second, and will not bring a perk that allows you to get a firecracker

lol no. blast mine is annoying but not broken in any way. it's literally a perk made to gain time to run away from a generator when the killer is getting close and decides to kick instead of chasing right away. it's useless if you don't want to or can't kick them.

Then bring lightborn regardless, it's why it is there because of this crying

Oh really, being able to prevent someone from getting freed for another 30-40 second chase isnt incredibly good?
And Iron Will really isnt universally useful, you cant use it with exhaustion perks, and killers have a lot of exhaustion perks and addons that instantly counter Iron Will. You cant counter Lightborn.
The only time Iron Will is good, is if a survivor doesnt have exhaustion perks, nor do you have anything exhaustion inducing, and they hide in a corner before you come check when everyone else is injured and you dont know there is Iron Will at play.0
