What perks are, in your opinion, underrated?

Member Posts: 2,033

Title. I'm curious to see what your opinions are about this.

I'll go first:

• Certain survivor stealth perks like Bite the Bullet, Lucky Break , Lightweight or Lucky Star. It's hilarious to see the killer lose you so quick thanks to some of these.

• Streetwise. It's so slept on, and is imo a very good perk when paired with good items.

• Babysitter and Wicked. Both are great even when there is no tunnelling going on.

• Inner Focus. Why aren't solos using it more, idk. But keeping tabs on the killer is great, especially now the range limit is gone.

• Surveilance is great if you fall into the 3-gen playstyle, or overall monitoring gens as the killer.

• Coup de Grace. It's good. More people should use it.

• Tinkerer. This one is really helpful, and it helped me interrupt an almost finished gen many times.

• Dark Devotion. I love it on the Doctor, with the Obsession becoming a remote bomb, but it's a nice perk on others as well.

• Remember Me. I'm really surprised that people don't use it as often, especially with how simple it is to get stacks.

Alert= even though I do not use it

Rookie Spirit= Another I do not run yet I feel if solo q this will shine, how many times you seen a solo q teammate nearly has a done gen but the killer forces them away from it, worst if indoor maps and your like omg where is it? This is literally survivors surveillance.

Parental guidance= this perk is chef kiss with anything that is a stun including wiggling off killer or gun slinger when you break his harpoon.

Aftercare= a far better bond thst lets you see everything your team is doing. Love a side show when in a gen and a teamates is just looping the mess out of the killer.

Harden = This perk wastes abit of time if your unlucky with chest or totems spawn, I usually run this only in swf with inner strenght you also can slap in over zealous but you lose its effects once injured. since solos sometimes touchy touch bones unnecessary which ruins it. This perk let you see aura of killer if they do anything to make you scream which includes taking a hit from their power or m1. On doctor ill purposely go tier 3 madness and fail.my skill check to wall hack him lol. Also I can cleanse hexes without worry about garbage calm spirit worthless bless/cleanse/open at - 30 and if your injured do stuff silenty with calm spirit is so redundant ecsuse your moaning withoit iron will

Mirror image = nothing nice when the killer swings on the gen and then to make it more nice, slap on blast mine and wire tap for your team to giggle with you

Borrow time= YES good old bt. How many times killers simply count 10 and down you again specially end game when you nearly got to the gate? Run this with either of 4 other perks I wont name and its a wrap. Since am afraid killers will want it gutted I wont say the other 4 perks.lol at the plague who dc cause she thought it was gg counting to 10.

I'll do killer perks first as I am more aware of the killer perks than survivor

Zanshin Tactics = Yes, indeed, Zanshin Tactics, though it depends what killer you are playing. I main clown so using Zanshin Tactics to see all pallets and windows within a 32 meter radius on an anti-loop killer, pure gold.

Grim Embrace = People may not consider this underrated, however I am as I never see any fellow killer main use this. The ability to block all generators for 10 seconds after hooking someone and walking 16 meters away is amazing, especially if paired with something like Dead Man's Switch.

Hex : The Third Seal = I never see anyone else use this but I love this perk, though I don't use it much, it's always so good

    Now for the survivor perks

Overcome = Combine this with Lucky Break and you've got yourself 2x the distance and a very confused killer.

Vigil = Vigil doesn't get the love and respect I think it deserves, it is a pretty decent perk I never see used.
