Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

New Killer/Survivors idea

Hello BHVR !

I took a break from the game recently to focus on another game.
It was originally released in 1995 on the SNES under the name "Clock Tower : The First Fear" but it got a new release in 2024 under the name : "Clock Tower : Rewind".
I never had the opportunity to play this game, however I really enjoyed the sequel simply named "Clock Tower" on the Playstation, back in my days.

Both games present a killer named Scissorman who follows, scares and hunts down the same survivor, Jennifer.

His style changes from the first game to the second one, as he goes from 9 years old to a bit older.
This means he could use several outfits.

Same with the survivors ; also, Scissorman hunts down a few of them.
Jennifer, Anne, Lotte and Laura in the first game.
Jennifer and Helen in the second one.

Now, gameplay-wise, I don't have many ideas.

In the game, he mainly hides somewhere and waits for the survivors to accidentally find him while looking for items to escape the place they're locked in.

So, I thought maybe survivors in DBD would have to find keys in the lockers before being able to repair gens.
There would be an animation before opening them during which Scissorman would have the option to instantly teleport in it, or not - as it would consume his power.

Another element is that in the games, he can be heard from a distance since he only walks clicking his sisccors every step. I thought that maybe he would be deprived from the attack button in DBD, and instead could not be approached in any way by the survivors. He wouldn't have any terror radius either, since simply moving would allow the survivors to hear his scissors getting closer.

I also thought about the fact that his scissors can cut through anything in the games.
Maybe they would cut through walls in DBD ?

Anyway, I thought you might want to take a look into Scissorman.

Thanks for reading !
