Is there any official source detailing how the bots & the Surrender options affect MMR (if they do)?
So yeah, does anyone know for sure how do bots & the different variants of the surrender mechanic affect MMR?
Does the bots' fate affect MMR? (Does a bot escaping/getting sacrificed affect MMR the same as a player, or maybe bots count as neutral like the Hatch?).
When the Killer "Abandons" the match due to full bot team or the game not progressing, do they lose MMR? Do they gain MMR?
When a Survivor uses the "Abandon" mechanic to avoid team-slugs (or just not wanting to deal with being slugged for the 4k) or when everybody else is a bot, do they lose MMR? is it considered the same as a Hatch escape? The Emblem system apparently counts it as "Escaped Broken" for some reason. If it does affect MMR then the term "high MMR" might be utterly meaningless soon.
I've asked around but nothing official has come to light, only conjectures, and even in various social media the devs remain mostly silent on the subject.

I mean, it's a question worth asking since the situation which prompted those bots varies greatly.
Should a bot count as a human player or (since the human DCed) did the Killer already got MMR? Or does DCing entirely voids any possible MMR change?
With the new surrender option, almost never ending a game without at least one bot, the question is rather important…

I definitely agree it needs to be asked, I would like to know myself.
I just don't know if it should affect MMR for either side at all if it is the case. After a while, fighting against or with bots feels like it's not a real round... so it shouldn't gain or lose you any MMR at all.1 -
I do agree. I honestly don't believe bots should affect MMR. But before the surrender mechanic, bots weren't exactly common and most matches would end with 4 human Survivors instead of almost every game ending with 1-2 bots.
However now, with how common bots are, it is a pretty important question to ask since now they will impact every matches.
