proximity voice chat event/gamemode would be cool .lt will give proximity voice chat to survivors and would be able to communicate with other people, but they cannot mute. The Killer will be able to hear them as well, so they must be quiet when the killer is around. This can boost teamwork, between survivors this can also boost stealth Killers too since they have a new way to find survivors. This event have potential Clip farming, and could boost dbd popularity.

    If TCM has taught us anything, then that a proximity chat is a terrible idea. Especially if you cannot mute the other players. You will have people with terrible microphones or that have music/the TV/their family in the background. And even though I am an EU player I am not even bringing up the entire language issue first.

    That comes now. Because languages exist. Not everyone speaks English, especially on the EU server. Am I keen to get insulted by some Russian players because I am wearing my flags? Not really. That already happens enough in EGC. The amount of languages and cultures that clash on EU may surprise you.

    Anything VC related would require a lot more servers dedicated to various languages first.

    An entirely new system of moderation would need to be created and taught what conduct is okay or not just for a LTM.

    Beyond the fact that it would be an awful idea (Skoegul goes into a good few excellent reasons why) - it wouldn't be worth BHVR investing this much into a LTM.

    TCM and DBD are 2 different games if you don’t like VC simply don’t play the mode. Some of us players been asking for VC for years since 2018.
