Eugeniusz was a very promising cleric. In the seminary, he devoted himself to theology and psychology, wanting his ministry to be as effective as possible. However, he occasionally offended lecturers by publicly criticizing outdated traditions and proposing modern alternatives. Near the end of his studies, Eugeniusz witnessed a traumatic event. While staying at a monastery, he noticed a strange, flickering light coming from one of the monks’ cells. As he approached, a thick, dark mist began to seep out from under the door. Inside the fog, shapes resembling tentacles or snakes moved restlessly. When he opened the door, he saw spider-like legs pulling a screaming monk through the ceiling into a burning circle—then vanishing.

Eugeniusz had never encountered anything like it, but the event only strengthened his sense of purpose. He decided to delve into demonology and exorcism, determined to uncover what had happened in that cell—and to be ready if the creature ever returned to the mortal world.

Father Eugeniusz eventually became a respected parish priest and a certified exorcist. Every few days, he received reports of demonic possession. Most were rooted in psychological conditions, but some truly seemed to involve supernatural forces. Yet, despite years of service, he never again saw anything resembling the thing from the monastery.
Until one day.

A whisper reached him—soft, incoherent, yet unmistakably containing the words "Eugeniuszu!" and "Fight!" Assuming it was a trick of the Evil One, Father Eugeniusz took his rosary and prayer book and followed the sound. Black tentacles emerged from the darkness, lashing his face, leaving him bloodied and scarred, all while whispering in voices not quite human. He tried to perform an exorcism, but the tentacles overpowered him—and he awoke in a place beyond understanding: a world of pain, shadows, and demons.

There, under flickering lights, the Spider God spoke.

It told the priest that the world of Fog was infested with demons in human form, and that only his unwavering devotion could cleanse it.

"I'll kill them all," he whispered—and began to walk.

Power: Exorcism

The Priest recites a prayer, charging for a few seconds. During this time, his basic attack is replaced with a ranged Exorcism.
Hitting a Survivor with Exorcism deals one health state of damage. A few seconds later, luminous nails are summoned and strike the Survivor, pinning them to the ground. While pinned, the Survivor cannot move, heal, recover, or be healed for a short duration.

If a Survivor is put into the dying state by an Exorcism, the moment the nails disappear, Killer Instinct activates for XX seconds, revealing the location of the crawling Survivor.

Perks:

Divine Intervention
When a Survivor blinds the Killer, they also suffer the Blindness status effect for 30%/40%/50% of the duration.

Holy Light
Each Survivor within 10 meters of a completed generator has their aura revealed to the Killer. This effect lingers for 1/2/3 seconds after the Survivor leaves the range.

Hex: Malleus Maleficarum
When a Survivor blesses a totem, this Hex activates, converting the blessed totem into a cursed one. The totem becomes locked for 10/20/30 seconds to other Survivors, and for the rest of the trial to the Survivor who blessed it. While the curse is active, that Survivor's boon perks are disabled.
This Hex cannot be blessed—only cleansed.
