[Original Killer Concept] The Bane – Sylvie Niedermeyer | Infection-Based Sensory Disruptor

Hello everyone,
I’ve spent the past few months developing an original killer concept that centers around audio deprivation, sensory suppression, and tactical control. Her name is Sylvie Niedermeyer, also known as The Bane, a surgical and clinical presence in the Fog.
This project includes a fully fleshed-out killer power, perks, realm, visual theme, mori, and add-ons. I would love feedback and suggestions from the community.

POWER: BANE DECAY
Sylvie uses a mutagenic serum delivered through syringes that applies Mutation Stacks to survivors. Each successful hit with her ability Infectious Saltate adds one stack, up to a maximum of 3. Basekit, she starts with 5 syringes.
Depleted syringes must be 'reloaded' at a locker. Stacks persist until cleansed.
MUTATION STACK EFFECTS:
1 Stack – Survivor becomes Oblivious.
2 Stacks – Audio cues begin to fade: breathing, footsteps, and skill check sounds grow faint or erratic.
3 Stacks – Total Decay:
- Oblivious
- Full silence: No audio cues, no skill check alerts, no terror radius
- 5% movement speed penalty
Survivors can only cleanse the infection by finding Herbal Bushes on the map. These are subtle and reveal only when close. If the Tainted Theriac add-on is equipped, one bush may be corrupted and cause the Exposed status for 10 seconds.

SPECIAL ABILITY: INFECTIOUS SALTATE
A long-range syringe lunge that applies Mutation Stacks. Saltate must be reloaded at lockers and is intended to be deliberate, not spammable.

Scourge Hook: Demolition
Hooks destroy all dropped pallets within 10/20/30 meters.
Hex: Martyrdom
Failed healing skill checks while this Hex is active make the healer Exposed for 5/10/15 seconds.
Clinical Report
Healing the Obsession grants the killer the Undetectable status for 10/15/20 seconds. (60s cooldown)

REALM: THE DERELICT WARD
A decaying quarantine wing deep within Léry’s Memorial Institute. Walls are ruptured by vines, and equipment lies rusted under pools of water. Darkness hides the growing infection.
Unique Mechanic: Cleansing Bushes
Survivors must use these to remove infection stacks. Tied to several add-ons, including one that makes a bush poisonous.
Points of Interest:
- Overgrown ICU cluster
- Surgical research pod garden
- Decommissioned trauma ward with overturned carts and flickering monitors

MORI: INTERNAL SILENCE
Sylvie kneels beside her victim and slides a syringe beneath their ribs. There’s no scream — only stillness. Their veins darken, and a whisper of fog escapes from their lips as their body collapses.
It is not breath that leaves them, but sound.

i'm surprised her first syringe doesn't give all status effects or it progressively adds them over time the longer you don't cure it
let's say the first hit doesn't injure with the stab attack but they get oblivious + blindness then after 15 or 30 seconds it progresses to add an injured state with mangled + hemorrhage and after another 15 to 30 seconds broken + hindered
also to not make her a better clown i would've changed her haste syringe to a syringe that makes her basic attack have a longer duration like coup that way she could outplay survivors at certain loops
you can have the bane intentionally leave these cures as experiments lore wise that give a random positive effect for survivor for example they cure the illness and get a small haste or a small repair speed bonus and you can even make it as a risk reward system where the more illnesses you have/statuses that progressed the more buffs a survivors get

This was the original idea for her power, but in trying to make her as unique as possible (basically trying not to make her too similar to Wesker or Plagues progression based power) that's why I added the hit based system. I may revert back to the progression based system instead.
