Trail of Torment CD buff was too much
In patch 8.1.0 the cooldown of Trail of Torment has been buffed from 60 seconds down to 30 seconds. In my opinion this new cooldown kinda gives the killer the ability to be undetectable all the time what makes it a bit OP. For example a survivor stops the regression of the "tormented" gen, the cooldown begins, the killer comes back to that gen and chases the survivor off it. The time window of coming back, chasing and maybe attacking of said survivor covers these 30 seconds easily and then the killer is able to "torment" the gen again. Now expect the killer to be a killer who can down survivors quickly like Nurse, Blight, Hillbilly or Huntress (the "Wooden Fox" addon needs a higher CD as well btw) for example and they're undetectable nearly all the time. How about a compromise: Make the cooldown 45-50 seconds (this is equivalent to Tier II).

I've never had any problems with this perk (because I never see anyone using it). Besides, Unforeseen is a thousand times better.

I disagree that it was too much, in practice it is easy to counter by simply stopping regression on the highlighted gen, the perk goes out of its way to show the survivors how to counter it. What I have seen is teams that don't develop map/gen placement IQ will refuse to stop regression of critical gens, this usually means that ToT or not that team is very likely going to 3-gen and lose the match.

Undetectable, which clearly shows it's active is not really that valuable.
Overall for majority of killers undetectable is not that big deal. It's just little soloQ/noob stompy.
I will personally pick Unforeseen every time over this.
Trail can work if you use Mindbreaker with it to hide yellow gen for survivors working on working on gens at least, but that's commiting two perks just to have slightly better stealth…0
